Hey guys! This is basically some headcanons about Christmas for the Clones in my fix-it au on and about Nay Mets!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Rex

He is obsessed with the lights. And the pretty decorations. Everything pretty about christmas basically.
Rex is obsessed with the pretty-ness of the snow. But only to look at! No touch.
Gets everyone really nice gifts and makes pudding.
Obsessed with older Christmas films like Holiday Inn and stuff.
Idk why.
On Christmas Day he’s up at his normal time and makes a coffee and drinks it before doing anything.

Fives

An actual fucking child.
Bro’s fav part is the gifts, and we all know it.
He loves kind of comedy-Christmas films.
I think first Christmas was when he gave everyone their hoodies but from then on, he gets like food or sweets for everyone.
He’s the first up on Christmas.
Boi falls down the stairs trying to race down, but he does wait for the others to arrive before unwraps his gifts. Impatiently. He waits impatiently.
Gives out free hot chocolate for the day.

Echo

Although he doesn’t really like to admit it, he likes the subtly romantic-Christmas films.
He buys everyone books and writes a message on the front page for them.
He loves the peaceful and beautiful side of Christmas. He 100% goes to the Church and listens to the carols even though he’s so not religious.
Gave cards to like, basically everyone. Like, those cheap ones you buy at the fuckin post office but then he writes like a beautiful paragraph for every person.

Jesse

Child number 2.
He likes all Christmas films, but particularly the cheesy and comedic ones.
Gives everyone small but well-chosen and meaningful things.
Holds a snowball-fight that ended up including like 90% of the town.
Cried hearing carols the first time, and refuses to go back to church.
Gave Tundra a Santa hat.

Kix

Kix still worked on Christmas Eve, but not on the day.
He gave all the kids at the hospitals gifts, and all the adults chocolate.
Work up super late on Christmas Day because he got home so late.
Sent Padme a gift.
He gave everyone sweet home-made things no one knows when he made.
Travelled around town with Fives to give everyone hot chocolate.

Cody

Similar to Kix, he gave all the kids at the daycare chocolates.
He got everyone accurate gifts. One of the few normal gift-givers.
Organised a huge dinner for all the close clones plus Jedi and what not.
Got his own Santa hat but in the 212th’s colour and wore it everywhere.
Just loves Christmas films. Like, particularly the ones with meaning.

Wolffe

Bro reminds me of a wet, angry cat.
Real-fucking-Scrooge/Grinch.
Secretly he actually likes Christmas, but he’ll never admit it.
Got everyone something small, probs stationary.
Bought the fucking cheap post office cards too but just wrote ‘Merry Christmas’ in them.
Threw part of the turkey at Fives when he wouldn’t stop singing.
Hates Christmas films.
Got Plo a hoodie saying ‘Best Dad’. Only rea gift he got, basically.

Fox

Bro was chugging coffee the night before because he’d been putting off wrapping the presents.
He went to Midnight Mass though, even though he’s not religious, he thought it was interesting.
He basically got everyone a mug.
A special mug.
He doesn’t really mind Christmas films but isn’t the biggest fan.

I AM NOT A NURSE/DOCTOR. IM 15. IVE NEVER TAKEN A DOCTORING OR MEDIC COURSE OR ANYTHING. I AM JUST GIVING MY OPINION, THIS IS FANFICTION (kinda) SO YEAH.
Echo wasn’t sure why exactly he did it, but a part of him took over, and suddenly he was running to the ship, his shield up in an attempt to shelter himself. He felt the heat first, the ringing sound of the explosion taking over his hearing. Time froze as his eyes turned to Fives, who he could tell was horrified, even through the visor. Echo hadn’t thought death would be like this, painful and dark. As soon as time had resumed, he’d been engulfed in an explosion of fire.
The battle droids at the battle had returned afterwards to find the Clone covered in rubble, clutching his shield to his body and covering his face, his helmet gone. That shield and his armour had protected him from death, but he was now bleeding out. Upon order from higher ranking, the droids took the Clone to Medbay, where he was nursed back from his deathly state.
The strange position he’d attempted to shelter himself in and the way his body had turned left him with deadly burned legs and an arm. So the medic droids removed all three limbs and replaced them with robotic legs and a scomp link, I think you called it? I don’t remember.
Echo was in such bad condition from the explosion that he acquired some amnesia, and therefore didn’t think that the droids were enemies when he woke up.
The Techno Union did not treat Echo well, not in the slightest, but he didn’t really remember much and was disoriented, so thought nothing of it.
The medics basically tossed him in a bacta tank a few months after his limbs had healed enough to be able to remove the robotic stuff. He stayed there for hours on end for weeks, which did a lot of his healing and since the scars were still fresh, they healed.
After that, he went through a lot of torturous machine trying stuff. As in, them plugging him into machines to try and communicate with his subconscious brain or whatever. Pretty messed up but yeah.
Eventually, they found something that worked, and Echo was stuck in the machine from then on until Rex rescued him. That’s why he so pale. He’s pale not just cause of the explosion but because of the, like, 0 vitamin D (the Techno Union were probably pumping that, other vitamins and food or whatever into his body somehow but like, no sun, boi pale. Boi vampire pale).
After coming out of the machine, and over time, Echo’s memory worked. It was back to it’s full condition before they put him in the machine, so when he gets yoinked out, he’s all good.
He’s defo traumatised from everything, but still rather cheery - the Bad Batch Echo we all know and love.
It takes him a little to get used to his robotic limbs but he gets to before they toss him in the machine. But when he gets out, he’s not able to manoeuvre himself normally at first. It would be hard for someone with all their natural limbs intact to do so, but with robotic limbs, it’s even harder.
Had a breakdown when he asked Rex “Where’s Fives?” and found out.
Like, didn’t leave his room for weeks.
I feel like if Fives was still alive, he would’ve gone back to the 501st but kept in contact with the Bad Batch. I feel like cause Fives wasn’t there, he couldn’t bare to go back there.
Never talks to Fox again.
Fairly.
I love Fox but like, Echo does not after that.
Has the most horrible night terrors, mostly of his time at Skako Minor, the explosion and then just his imagination creating visions of what Fives’ death might have looked like.
Echo’s very glad he joined the Bad Batch, but always misses the 501st. He will constantly do shit that is so 501st-coded, none of TBB members understand. Like, he’ll make inside jokes and laugh until he remembers and then freeze and sometimes cry.
Honestly, same boi.
Unrelated headcanon, but I fully believe he got the number five tattooed on the back of his left hand, so he always carries a bit of Fives with him. It’s covered so much that it takes months for TBB to find out.
When he remembers the droids are the enemy, he’s disgusted about how buddy-buddy he treated them.
So basically, his odd position he was in left his limbs burnt, not ripped off. They however had to be removed because of the burns, and then he was thrown in a bacta tank for ages.

ok so guys, originally i was also gonna do headcanons for all my clone ocs and i wrote a few but gave up cause its been hours.

also, yes, normal dogs and cats and their various breeds exist in this.

have some headcanons:

Overall

The Clones get like, idk imma just say money but basically they get a bunch of money to make up for not getting paid but especially to make sure they’re not gonna end up homeless.
Most Clones live in groups as it feels unnatural for them not too. (i feel like im doing a david attenborough documentary rn, read: ‘most clones live in groups’ in david’s voice, go check him out if you dunno him)
The Clones are then all ‘employed’ by the GAR (they’re not rlly given a chance, as the senate wouldnt fully permit them to just become civvies, padme, chuchi and bail as well as some others managed to negotiate this, which was the best why could do). This means they can have other jobs and are only called upon if there is a problem that requires them. Sorta like how the Jedi were before that, but different.
Most Clones move to planet Nay-Mets (an anagram of amnesty, i think this is funny because the definition of amnesty is ‘an official pardon for people who have been convicted of political offences’ which is kinda what the anti-clone people would think about them, so its like the clones r saying ‘we dont care what you think’ and owning it) - which I have made up. Nay-Mets is a planet of earthy terrain, with lakes and rivers running through it. Its beautiful, and had a sparse and small population until the clones arrived. The clones are careful with what they do to the land and care for it dearly. The Non-Clone civvies are very welcoming and help the Clones build homes and other things. They moved into a town that had been uninhabited for a year or so for no real reason. Only a month after the end of the war, Nay-Mets is busy and buzzing, with Clones and Non-Clones.
Bail Organa has become Chancellor and is pushing everything for Clone rights. Between him, Chuchi and Padme - plus some other senators - they’ve gotten good and better rights for the Clones.
Anakin lives with Padme on Naboo. When the war ended, he ended up telling Obi-Wan about his marriage who happily informed him the Council was changing the code to allow such things.
Anakin is off-world when Luke and Leia are born, but feels it through the Force. He rushes home (Obi-Wan orders him to, claiming he can finish the battle by himself) and cries upon meeting his children.
Obi-Wan visits Naboo before returning to Coruscant and immediately feels the tug towards Luke, who’s Force is a blanket of warmth and sunlight. Ahsoka comes as soon as Anakin comms her (which is pretty quickly, and rather excitedly) and upon meeting Leia, she can’t help but hear the raindrops and feel the moonlight she emits to her. Luke has a special bond with Obi-Wan, just as Leia has a bond with Ahsoka.
Even though Palpatine is dead, the events of the other seasons take place, but slightly differently. The battles that do take place (no way im specifying, i dont have the patience for that) are run by Dooku. He’s keeping the war going, but without Palpatine, it’s hard. He’s captured by Anakin, then Grievous is killed by Obi-Wan. Dooku goes to jail.
Ahsoka still gets the message from Bo-Katan and frees Mandalore. She captures Maul who is taken to trial and he is the reason that the trial against Fox finally proved him not-guilty (well, guilty but fairly).
Order 66 never happens (no shit) and the Kaminoans are ordered to de-chip every single Clone. They are taken to jail immediately afterwards. Some Clones remain on Kamino to raise the youngers, and Shaak Ti ends up taking control of the whole place.

The air Fives breathed in felt heavy as he panted, glancing frantically between his trapped Captain and General and to the Guard. His flittering gaze met Fox’s through his visor.

Fox grit his teeth as his head pounded again, like someone was punching his skull over and over and over. It had been aching since his talk with the chancellor that morning. Now, he stood with his gun raised in trembling hands.

Something in his mind - something in his mind - was ordering him to pull the trigger, such a simplistic action that would knock down the boy ahead, the supposed terrorist.

But he knew Fives, and this was not him.

And so Fox pushed back that person, that voice in his head, and he listened to Fives. They all listened to the spluttering words of their vod, the General included. As soon as Rex was released from the shield, he enveloped his little brother in a hug, pulling him close and muttering comfort.

The look Rex had given Fox from over Fives’ shoulder was enough to make Fox’s heart drop to his stomach.

Days had passed since Fives’ confession, and now Fox was speed-walking through the Senate, blasters in hand with gritted teeth. Everything he’d heard, felt, and figured out had added up to this impulsive decision, as he pressed the door control to enter the Chancellor’s office.

“Commander Fox!” Chancellor Palpatine greeted cheerfully, but Fox only glared harder through his visor. He used to think the Chancellor’s cheerful greetings could be irritating at times, and now he felt like there were deeper levels of brainwashing being placed on him every time they encountered one another.

Which was exactly what it was.

Fox was barely in control of himself as he raised his right arm, safety-off on his blaster as he aimed the weapon at his brainwasher.

Once, Fox and all his brothers had been puppets on strings, tied carefully to the Chancellor’s fingertips. But those strings were cut, when Fox pulled the trigger.

You opened your door with a grin to reveal Rex, standing in the snow in thick warm clothes and a huge grin. “Hey, Cyar’ika,” he greeted, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.

“Hey, Rex,” you replied, grasping the edges of your beanie and pulling them down over your ears further, closing and locking your door behind you. “Ready?”

“Of course,” the blonde Clone responded, kissing your cheek before leading you away from your house. The plan was simple, a simple date, as it always was with you two. Rex may have been an extremely romantic guy, but he was not an extreme date guy. There were other ways to be romantic.

You two walked through the town with huge grins, towards your first destination. You pushed the door to the cafe open with a grin and waved to Echo who was stood at the counter.

“Two hot chocolates, I presume?” He asked, high-fiving his brother as you nodded. He called backwards to Jesse who yelled back a greeting.

Not long later, you and Rex were wandering the streets and gazing at the Christmas lights with huge grins and take-away cups of steaming hot chocolate. “Look at those!” Rex exclaimed, pointing to a house with strings and strings of red and green lights dangling from the roof, coating the entire house.

You laughed.

“It’s so pretty,” you whispered, staring starry-eyed at the lights.

Rex turned to you with a soft smile.

“Just like someone I know,” he teased, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

“That’s cheesy,” you teased back as he laughed, wrapping you up in a hug, his chin on top of your head.

“Cheesy only for you.”

Sorry this took so long guys! It was long to type out and I also have a good excuse: I was at basketball and cut my big-toe-nail in half horizontally so had to clean and bandage and what not.
