He decides oh  I’m gonna go back the way I came. I didn’t direct him that way….That was a class example of a happy accident. Where he just did something cause you know he felt so free. He felt it. And then Ryan didn’t expect him to jump back over the couch…And so he’s like why did you do that? That’s not in the script…And he pretends to spit on the couch. And he goes cause I hate this school. And then Ben just starts laughing… -Tate Donovan 

This date that she set for Seth. We’ve never seen her do that…It was actually really nice. -Melinda 

Two times Ryan protected Seth from bullying, in The OC 1x01 and 1x02.

I can’t…I’m gonna start crying again…It makes me so emotional…Cause it just represented so much…The end and remembering it so clearly…. -Rachel

I felt like I was watching in all honesty I was watching Rachel and Adam. -Melinda

And Adam was really sweet in that scene. -Josh

I had Uggs on under the dress. Cause I was like I can’t wear heels and it’s like grass whatever and I was cold and I couldn’t walk. And the tongue was an improv. -Rachel

And I love Brody’s reaction. It was very us. -Rachel

He’s gonna become selfless. Which is kind of the completion of the Seth Cohen arc. -Josh Schwartz 

And there’s this scene at the end where you guys hug and he’s like “At least I leave you funnier than I found you.” and you’re like “You leave me better than you found me.” and he’s like “Me too.” And that hug again. I remember being so mad on the day because whatever reason you guys ended up in like the same colored shirt. And I was like why are they in this and I guess in person they weren’t the same color shirt but like on camera they read as the same color shirt. And then watching it obviously with some time has gone by I was like oh you know what it’s actually kind of nice because it shows it’s like an accident about how similar they’ve become. -Josh

It’s only the second time they hug. They hug once in the pilot and then they hug in the finale. -Melinda 

And Summer and Seth are doing their thing. -Rachel 

All he ever wanted to do was watch movies and read the paper with his bagel in the morning at the time. -Rachel

So he loves movies. He loves film. -Melinda 

It really rattled me watching it. It was scary. -Rachel 

You know the scene where he does bring the framed poem and they’re talking about the one and all that? I was trying to think in my mind if we were already broken up in real life at this point, because I could feel the disconnect, and I’m kind of thinking that maybe now from here on out. I may be wrong. -Rachel 

I’ve never seen Brody more over it then this episode. -Rachel
