Clock in the sidewalk, Broadway & Maiden Lane, 1947.

The clock was first installed outside his shop in 1899 by a Manhattan jeweler named William Barthman. Replaced with a different design around 1940, it is still there. Despite being not that far from the World Trade Center, it kept working throughout Sept. 11, 2001, although it stopped for a while during Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
