Okay, the obvious ask then. Top 5 movies?
This is so hard but I’ll try … but I reserve the right to change my mind at any point haha
- Rocky Horror Picture Show: So it’s 2am and I fancy watching a horror movie so I turned all the lights off and put this film on (I’d heard it was really good) so I’m ready to be scared. Frank Furter starts coming down the lift and I’m thinking oooooo… Janet you about to die but NO cause the only thing Tim Curry is a danger too is his suspender belt during his dance numbers. I fell off my chair laughing and have loved it ever since.
- Weekend: I have never seen a movie depict a persons life which is very similar to mine. I connected so much to this movie. It’s a real life fairytale romance and I love it.
-Harold and Maude: Age gap romance which is super sweet and nothing like I’d ever seen before.
- Brother Bear: I don’t get emotional but this movie… I cry every time! So moving😭
- Beautiful Thing: A touching working class gay romance. Also the first movie I ever programmed in a cinema so feeling sentimental.
