You can’t get there without the fans, right, I have to thank them. Gotta thank specifically the ones that…oh God what’s it called…the SaveDrLevant.com! Have you seen this site? I mean, it’s insane, apparently they get dozens of hits a month, whatever, I think that’s a lot.

1. SaveDanielJackson.com was a real website, and very clearly it made an impression on both Shanks and the producers, which is inexpressibly charming.
2. This is a gentle roast not only of us “dozens” of Daniel fans but also of Shanks for thinking that’s a lot. This is in keeping with the cast and crew of SG-1 being generally lovely with what is a comparatively small but fervently loyal fanbase.
3. Given the sort of content prevalent online on Daniel-centric websites especially at this time (hello, Danny whumpers, you absolute legends!) I am wondering whether it was ONLY SaveDanielJackson.com that Shanks saw, of it there were forays into other, spicier avenues...
