Infinite thanks to @trickybonmot for waiting so patiently for this illustration from the 2023 @fandomtrumpshate auction.
It's for @littledust's fanfic The Needle and the Nail, which I completely adore:
Do you want to save them? say the voices on the wind, and Wen Qing's hand falls to her pocket. The cord is still unknotted, but her intentions have begun to permeate it. And there is one person here whose meridians she knows as well as her own.
I ordered the stupidest hat ever and I love it so so so much 💕

thanks for asking! first of all, I think love is weakness by another name and you should be killing everyone with your demon blade
the reading comprehension on this site is awful. the true power is in the demon blade. that's how it kills everyone.
Shoutout to Shen Yuan the only man who actually read porn for the plot
(via raddestrose) #i know my boy was in the TRENCHES#dude literally read hundreds of chapters of sex to MAYBE learn about some magic plants#humanity’s strongest soldier#he was going through it for chapters upon chapters#he had their names and properties memorized#he hate read everything for the plot#and he didn’t even like it#luckily he remembered everything after the system got to him#shen yuan#she qingqiu#scum villian self saving system#svsss
A series of Scum Villain AUs where Luo Binghe tries to romance Shen Yuan in increasingly inappropriate power differentials. Binghe is in love with his landlord and keeps missing rent payments so he can offer to pay with his body. Binghe keeps reinfecting his leg wound so he can try to seduce his home health nurse. Binghe is on trial for murder and judge Shen Yuan is like “members of the jury, please disregard that the defendant is trying to fuck me???”
Luo Binghe works at an extremely specific nonprofit that has only one major donor that’s basically keeping the whole thing afloat, and Binghe’s coworkers are so torn on whether he should be encouraged or forbidden from trying to fuck that guy. Eventually Shang Qinghua who also works there is like “good news, we have a second major donor so this entire enterprise is not entirely reliant on the most annoying and easily annoyed man I know to keep giving us money,” and someone else is like “great, then we will approve Luo Binghe’s new HR proposition that we are allowed to have sex with up to fifty percent of our donors, which is good because he’s already somehow living in Shen Yuan’s apartment” and Shang Qinghua is like “up to 50 percent? oh. umm. okay then to stay above board, we need to quickly get two more donors.”
Luo Binghe realizes he has Borderline Personality Disorder and starts dialectical behavior therapy which really helps him better manage his extreme emotions and improves his relationship with those around him, which he excitedly reports to his therapist Shen Yuan who has to go, "THAT'S REALLY GREAT BUT THERE'S NO POINT OF PROGRESS IN DBT WHERE YOU GET TO FUCK YOUR THERAPIST"
Shen Yuan teaches an after work at the community center pottery class that Luo Binghe joins and then engineers the total psychological collapse of all the other students so they stop coming.

Actor's mask depicting Yang Ren, who was blinded for offending King Zhou of Shang. His vision was restored by a Daoist sage, who caused two arms to grow out of his eyesockets, with new eyes in the center of each palm. China, Qing dynasty, 19th century
@fiercestcorpse put insane images in my head

still absolutely baffled by the fact that when the untamed got popular on here you had people posting stuff like "i know it seems kind of weird and confusing for the first couple of episodes but don't worry, it picks up after that" like what the hell are you talking about. i loved the first couple of episodes. i was having the time of my life right from the opening monologue and it only got better from there.
