I’m very happy about the Zonai in Tears of the Kingdom being fantasy Indigenous South American rather than fantasy European.

Honestly the designs their warriors have look like they’d be the cannibals/savages in any other European fantasy based media that abuses Indigenous fashion and design for poorly made and racist villains.

But they aren’t! They’re the legendary divine ancestors of the Hylians, who made amazing tech and saved the world!

I like seeing this sort of cultural aesthetic in character design be un-demonized.
