Kindergarten was all MMPR all the time for me, so cosplaying from it was pretty inevitable. This costume took a lot of work, but it was worth it -- it turns out, evil poses are a lot easier than pretty ones! Thanks to the Ellicott City crew for making this weekend magical. Evilly magical.

Who else is excited for Fafner the Beyond? @fictionaleyes and I enjoyed cosplaying Canon and Maya at Katsucon last year, but we’re hyped up for more Fafner in the near future. The Fafner love will never die.

Wow look at these jerks. (And my thighs, and my girlfriend’s legs.) I call this set “Vampires in the Garden”, not to be confused with the book “Vampires in the Lemon Grove”, which I highly recommend.

I’ve been working on this costume off and on for almost a year now. The bulk was made for Anime USA back in October last year, but since I’ve remade entire parts, for both Katsucon and Animazement, and I’m about to remake more! One of these days I’ll actually be satisfied. Alas. Sword boys are pretty but not practical for fighting bad guys. SLEEVES ARE SO CUMBERSOME. But I love this fussy peacock, so much. I just hope to do him justice.

I got into Steven Universe late – and I got into it because I saw gifs of this scene. So as soon as we decided to cosplay these two, I knew I wanted to honor “The Answer” somehow.

For some reason I decided that the best way to handle [spoiler spoiler episode 10] was to put on casual cosplay and take pictures of “Kaname gets drank to handle [spoiler spoiler episode 10].”
