Here we make our favorite fictional deities fight for our adoration.

Rules:

-Fictional Characters only -Gods, goddesses, deities, incarnations, divine personifications, etc. They are welcome as long as they are divine in nature, -The deity most be an original creation for their media. -Characters that are named after real life gods are welcome only if their domain is different from their counterpart's. For example:

-No media is excluded but I reserve the right to reject a submission. -Only 4 characters per media.

My name is Majed Al-Gharabawi, and I am from Gaza. My family and I endured 188 days of continuous war, where every moment was filled with uncertainty and fear. Despite holding on to hope, our home was bombed, leaving us with nowhere to go. We were forced to make the painful decision to flee to Egypt in search of safety.

We left everything we knew behind—our home, which no longer exists, our community, and many of our loved ones who couldn't escape due to the ongoing conflict in Rafah. The journey was difficult, filled with tears and anxiety about those we left behind, but we had no other choice.💔

Upon arriving in Egypt, we found ourselves in a new struggle—starting from scratch. Without a home, without income, and without security, our focus now is on securing a safe place for my family, ensuring my children continue their education, and meeting our basic needs.

Unfortunately, the fundraising campaign I launched is moving very slowly, and we haven't been able to raise even a quarter of the needed amount. Time is not on our side, and every day the situation becomes more difficult, especially with the increasing basic needs we can no longer afford.

I'm working hard to document my campaign and have reached out to the people who verify campaigns, and I'm waiting to hear back. However, there are those who checked my campaign here. The campaign is new, and I am also new to using this platform, so I am learning every day how to improve it and reach more people who can help.

In Gaza, we lost everything, and the future seemed bleak. But I believe in the kindness and generosity of others. This is why I created this campaign—to ask for your help in rebuilding our lives. The funds we raise will be used to secure a home, educate my children, and meet our basic needs that we can no longer afford.😔

All propaganda and what each competitor is from under the cut

wanted to say something more about this than just that utena is my favorite, and i don't think the reasoning submitted for the poll quite manages to get to the core of why i think utena deserves to win:

i think it's sometimes a little overlooked just how important utena being an orphan is to her character and arc. yes, it led to her meeting her prince and shaping her life and identity around that meeting, but also. not only did the deaths of her parents directly lead to her meeting her abuser in the first place, the way she ends up idealizing the idea of family itself due to it, is the very thing that makes her so vulnerable to his grooming. her lack of experience and knowledge about what a family is "supposed" to be like makes her quite naive to certain things, but it is also in many ways part of what gives her the necessary perspective to question things and to change them in the way that she does. utena's dead parents is central to what makes her who she is within the story, and her character quite simply would not work without it. at the beginning of the show it might seem like a typical but not all that important tragic fairy tale backstory, but it is much more than that, tying directly into the show's themes of family and abuse.
