In 2011, I decided to invite myself onto my now best friend’s hiking trip to the summit of Mt. Washington. I underestimated the mountain, weighed about 50 pounds more than I do now, but I had an amazing time, and made it to the top. This started my love for hiking, and kick started my journey to living an active and healthy lifestyle, losing weight, and being fit. Above, are the pictures of myself at the summit of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire (i’m the one in the red hat in the first.) I was amazed when I looked at these side by side to see the transformation in myself every year. I just wanted to share this because of how proud I am of myself and all of my friends that hike with me, and hope to inspire others to do the same!

Starting ideal protein again!
I'm excited, just going to miss my beer! Anyone have alot of experience with ideal protein? I enjoyed it last time I did it, just didn't stay with my last phase diet and gained some weight back... Need to continue being healthy.
Hey everyone! I'm back! I started this blog a few years ago originally to help me on my weight loss journey, and it spiraled into a little bit of everything blog that I really enjoyed. I've had a lot going on the past year so I took a break from social media. Just wanted to say thank you to all you amazing people that helped inspire me to become healthy. Since that picture was taken four years ago, I have lost 50 pounds, and have never felt better. Anyone that may be skeptical about loosing weight and being healthy just remember, YOU CAN DO IT.
