New season of Star Wars Rebels starts tomorrow! I wasn’t expecting to be invested in Sabine’s Mandalorian heritage arc, but has been quite insightful.
I’ve slightly bittersweet feelings because it’s the final season, but I do hope it’ll remain in people’s hearts for some time to come!

I realized (when I was about halfway through this) that the prompt was probably meaning 5 years of the Kanera Week event, but I initially interpreted it as anniversary of the show (because it first aired 2014). But by then I had the initial colours done so yeah.

As hard as it was to choose a season, it was easy to realize why the first one means so much to me. Season one feels like home. It's familiar; it's warm; it's uplifting. It showed all the potential in the settings, the characters, their dynamics, and overarching story that ultimately was delivered in its finale. There's so much heart and spirit in this season's beginnings that exemplified what Star Wars should be at its core. Thank you to the creative team that worked on this show and Happy 10th Anniversary, Star Wars Rebels. 🫶
yo I’ll tell you what I want what I really really want (and it’s more of these two excellent ladies!)
I just caught up on the premiere of Star Wars Rebels and I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far! It looks like it’s going to be a hella fun ride and I’m looking forward to learning more about the Ghost crew and the Imperials in this time period :D
I have lots of love for both Hera and Sabine, but what I’m also really really wishing for is that we get to see more of their friendship and interaction throughout the series! (not just two dynamic & interesting female characters, but if we get a female-female relationship given the same weight and development as a male-male relationship or male-female romantic subplot… it would be SO incredibly awesome \o/ maybe it’s wishful thinking, but there’s always hope…..)
