Fun Fact: The cinematographer for Hud was in fact a Chinese American (born in China), named James Wong Howe (b. 1899, d. 1976). He was nominated for a grand total of 10 Academy Awards for his work, and won twice (once for The Rose Tattoo, and once for Hud). He was held as one of the all time greatest cinematographers who ever lived, and it's kinda suprising nobody talks about him now, since he was a Chinese man working in Hollywood in a very high level position from 1917 all the way up to 1975
