ITS CALLED THE LIMESTONE EYELASH PIT VIPER. THAT iS SO CUTE. ITS SO PRETTY
DNI lists on this website are fucking insane
can we explain to early-twenties autistic lgbt people that they . cant be saying these things. you cant be calling people 'degens' in your dni you cant do that. you cant do that man. can we do a history lesson. you cant do that
YOU CANT DO THAT MAN
"in defense of using the term degen, it's generally applied to pedophiles" - conservative man who might actually shoot a trans woman if he saw one within 50 meters of his child, and also LGBT tumblr users who do not know things they should know

we should talk about water more often that shit is crazy
it is literally one of the most normal things
you can’t even begin to understand how insane water is
Water as a molecule has SO many absolutely bonkers properties that no other substance has and it's that combo that makes life as we know it possible in this universe. that shit IS crazy.
Solid water floats in liquid water. that's not normal. It expands and arranges a repeating lattice structure that creates a crystal which isn't super strange but it drops in density by 11% which is. It's polarized. It dissolves EVERYTHING. The latent heat properties are insane. the emergent properties are also insane. the nitrogen cycle takes a whole bunch of effort and enzymatic processing, but the water cycle runs off the sun and the chill of space.
Just because you are a bunch of squishy bags of complicated water, doesn't make that a normal thing to be. the vast majority of the universe does not have that. water is very VERY special.
i mean tbh if a transfem wants to separate herself from the wider queer community and only spend time with other transfems i kinda think thats her prerogative? frankly that shit doesnt happen out of nowhere, it happens when a trans girl has been repeatedly failed by tme queer people and thus loses trust in them. if you dont like trans women being "seperatists" then focus on making a community that they feel welcome in instead of continuing to harass them for trying to escape you.
It's weird how cis women have women's spaces and girl nights and so many other activities like that and it's normal. But trans women get called separatists for doing it
it’s because trans people CAFAB are welcome at those cis women’s “girls nights” & “women’s spaces” whilst trans women are not. it was always supposed to be for them to exclude us & they’re angry if it works the other way.
This is why "eat the rich" is not a violent statement. Rich people literally kill others for their own profits. Any violence against rich people who do this is self defense.
This is also one of the many reasons why there are zero good cops. The nicest cop in existence would arrest someone for stealing to survive but would not arrest these greedy employers for killing for profit.
We need etsy to get bought by someone who will run it like the navy i need to only see small businesses in eastern europe weaving baskets by hand and anime yaoi keychains with original fanart
Literally need someone with an serial killer level obsession with content moderation to sit at a wall of monitors sniping dropshippers. I need etsy HQ to look and sound like the nerv command center in Evangelion
Divorce 🤝 gender transition = a big costly life decision with too much paperwork that conservatives say will cause the end of civilization & ruin your life but if you actually ask people who chose to do it, they'll tell you their only regret is that they didn't do it sooner
Fun fact: I had wanted gender affirming top surgery for a long time but, due to a variety of personal hangups, didn’t think I could ever convince myself to prioritize it enough to dedicate the time and resources it would require even though objectively I would have been able to find them.
A little over a year ago, I was driving my friend to their top surgery consultation and we passed a billboard for a divorce attorney that read “life is short, get the divorce.” Some switch flipped in my head. I realized that, if this amount of time/money were all it took to escape some terrible marriage and live the rest of my life happy, the answer would be obvious. So why not for this?
I picked up some info at the clinic when we were there that day and exactly a year later got my own top surgery! Absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made. Fucking life changing. 10/10 cannot overstate what a good decision it was. And all because of a fucking divorce billboard…
Throwing it out there because I think her story could be important here.
When I was about 14 my dad picked up nail polish as a hobby with me, something the two of us had in common. The following year my patents divorced for completely unrelated reasons (mistakes my mother has made which have since been not forgiven but moved past) and despite the love they had both my parents have realized it was actually for the best.
I stayed with my dad and over time I noticed a slow change in wardrobe, whatever I thought. Because it doesn't matter to me. And then one day she comes to me, and in her own sense comes out as trans but says she would still rather be called my dad and is just changing her name. At 60, my dad got the divorce *and* the gender transition and is still slowly taking more steps in transition. I don't think she's ever been happier.
Regards transition, she's told me she knew when she was much younger but feared if she would be accepted because at the time (and still now but to a lesser degree) our area was quite conservative. She saw me out and open as nonbinary without any trouble and was able to live her life as she wanted too, with more ease of not worrying about losing my (straight) mother.
Get the divorce. Take your first steps in transition. Do both if you need to. It's never too late to start being happy. If it wasn't too late for my dad at 60, the best time is always the present.
i was recently denied life-saving gallbladder removal surgery by my GI specialist due to being "too fat" and "needing to lose 10 -15 pounds and waiting 2 - 3 months in order to get the surgery". i was then signed up for bariatric weight loss surgery before i could get the gallbladder removal despite the gallstone stuck in the neck of the organ as well as the other stones inside of it causing me to be incapable of keeping down food
i ended up getting the surgery done by a local hospital with far better doctors, but the initial denial had me so defeated. if you are fat and have ever been denied important surgeries, life saving or otherwise, because of your weight, i am so sorry and you should never have to face that. most surgeries are not impacted by weight in the slightest. this is usually an issue with the surgeon's skill as a surgeon.
i was told by every other surgeon i met that weight has no bearing on a laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery. at the other hospital i was also told that anesthesia wouldn't work on me or that i wouldn't survive it. yet again i was told by other surgeons that was also not the case. most surgeons worth their paygrade can do these surgeries after just... trying and learning how to work with fat bodies.
i was told by the surgeons and nurses in the ER that it's ridiculous for the other hospital to behave as though fat people will never need surgery of any kind ever throughout their lives, for one reason or another. it's unrealistic. most people will encounter a potential surgery in their life times, no matter their weight and it's unprofessional to just give up when someone above a certain weight threshold needs help.
my heart goes out to you especially if you're trans, intersex, gnc, and queer and have been denied top surgery or other gender affirming care surgeries because of your weight. this is also medically unethical and done for no reason other than fatphobic transphobic bias. you do not need to lose weight to get top or bottom surgery.
take care of yourself. my heart goes out to you and you don't deserve this treatment at all
if you tell someone to do a marge simpson voice they always start with saying "homer" ans if you tell someone to do a lois griffin voice they always start with "petah". which is the name of their husbands instead of their own.....
COUNTERPOINT! Tell someone to make a Homer impression and they say "Maaarge" and tell them to do a Peter voice and they say "Hey Lois" which is the name of theyr beuetiful wives:)
I do not know if polls really help with ‘engagement’ like the trends seem to suggest, but either way, it’s something fun before asking you to hear me out about something serious.
I have been chatting with Dina Alanqar @zinaanqar.
She is currently in Gaza with her husband Ahmed and their four young children, the youngest only born in June. Like so many others, they lost their home in the north and have been displaced many times since. They’ve been struggling with lack of healthcare, clean water, hardships that I can hardly even imagine.
Their family needs funds for travel and accommodations when the opportunity to leave Gaza comes, and for their survival until then.
