I think the op would be a bit more clear if the “brothers” were in order - Voldemort - the first brother, his arrogant disregard for death because of a ‘magical cheat’ inevitably leads to his defeat, Snape - the second brother, his selfish inability to move past the loss of the woman he loved leads to his death in a round about way, Harry - a humble man *cough still a gryffindor* who met death as an old friend, departing this life as equals.
