Before we all leave the internet for good to go play this game, I want us all to give another HUGE shoutout and standing ovation for the one and only @felassan, who has not just been holding the fort for all those years in which the fandom was dormant and hope for Veilguard to ever come out seemed so slim, they've been a true cornerstone of the fandom throughout all of it, and of course this entire crazy marketing campaign, providing everyone with every information, minor or big, regarding BioWare and amazing analysis and summaries and I know I speak for everyone when I say THANK YOU SO MUCH, you're incredible and I hope you'll have a great time with Veilguard and that it is all you've wished for (and our favorite elf Felassan to make a glorious appearance of course!!! Do you perhaps know if the 80k lines of dialogue of inquisition include the dlcs or are just the base game? Because the dlcs add a good 20 hours of game and I'm trying to calculate how long datv will be fjdjd

This article is from a few days later in November 2014. the writer says that they had a chat with some BioWare developers and were told by them that DA:I had "88,000 lines of voiced dialogue". [source] story DLC for DA:I all came out in 2015 iirc, so I wonder if the 88,000 figure pertained only to the base-game? for comparison, here is note of how many lines of dialogue were in ME2, ME3 and ME:A. and here are two links to comments/excerpts about the potential length of DA:TV: one, two

hello! ◕‿◕ [Sandal DA2 frozen darkspawn scene] yess. 👁️ it's interesting that Bodan had a theory that maybe Sandal is lyrium-addled due to his exposure to lyrium (blood of Titans) in the Deep Roads, as the other thing that Harding's new powers bring to mind is Valta's new magical powers to shape stone at the end of Descent, after she was hit with raw lyrium during the battle with the Guardian in the Wellspring. I can't wait to find out more about the reason for Harding's new powers and what it might mean for the dwarves going forward, and/or in terms of Titan lore reveals etc.. (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Maybe Rook can't be a bloodmage and has 'good reasons to avoid it' because their blood got mixed into the ritual... and using their blood for magic would be dangerous in some kind of way.
hello! ◕‿◕ it totally sounds like Rook using blood magic would be in some way dangerous or risky, right? I like the idea that it's an unforeseen consequence somehow of disrupting the magic ritual during the prologue.. 👁️ maybe it's to do with the connection with Solas that Rook ends up having, or because the ritual was aiming to tear open the Veil? (the blood magic-Rook thing reminded me of how Solas mentions in DA:I that use of blood magic makes entering the Fade more difficult.) or maybe it's to do with things Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain have been up to?

Hey MJ, I hope it's okay to do this through you :) A good 10 years ago when Inquisition was about to come out an anon sent you an ask saying she was having a sort of gay awakening courtesy of the jawline of one Cassandra Penthagast just as I was having mine for the exact same reason. I've been thinking about her a lot recently - and I really hope she's just as okay with it now as I am.
