User: "Hello. I was wondering, since myself and I’ve seen a few others wonder, if seeing Bellara or Lucanis as part of the Asexual Spectrum would be a valid interpretation of their character. Just asking since I want to respect your wishes if that isn’t allowed." Mary Kirby: "Yes, definitely. I intended Lucanis to be panromantic and demisexual." [source]

Mary Kirby: "Part of me feels guilty that I didn't make it explicit in game, but unlike Dorian and Krem, Lucanis' sexuality wasn't the major factor in his plot. His story was about dealing with trauma and not being ace." [source]
User: "Hello! Other than Lucanis being intended to be demisexual, he's also supposed to have not been in a relationship before, right? Romantic or intimate. I've listened to his voicelines with Emmrich and heard about ones with Harding/Taash but not a lot of people talk about it..." Mary Kiry: "Correct." [source] User: "I'm gonna piggy back off of this...because there are literal arguments happening right now over it...-sigh- Is this confirmation that Lucanis is a virgin? (I can not believe this reply is going to be my first anything on this app...) (Btw, thank you for giving us Lucanis, he's wonderful! 10/10)" Mary Kirby: "Yes" [source]
Sylvia Feketekuty: "To celebrate DA day, I've made a bluesky account that I'll keep active for a few days to talk about my work on Inqusition or Veilguard! After a few days I'll lock the account, because I'm not a social media person. Happy to talk until then though. I want to say straight off: the reception to Emmrich, Manfred, the Mourn Watch, and the Grand Necropolis has been heartwarming for all of us who worked on those people and places. Thank you all very much!" [source, two]

Dragon Age Day 2024 – Developer Reddit AMA (Q&A session) – compilation post

hello tumblr user felassan, what was your favourite part of the game? (besides seeing in-game felassan)
hello! ◕‿◕ oh!! that's such a fun question, thankyou for asking.
putting my answer under a cut as it contains spoilers for DA:TV.
it's a cop out maybe but it's a difficult question to answer in a way for two reasons: one, Felassan and the Felassan content was my favorite part of course, and two, there were lots of other things that I loved about the game so it's hard to decide between them. here are some:
