In an alternate universe where Bucky got the movie he deserves. This movie would simultaneously follow him as the Winter Soldier 1946-1950s while also paralleling to present day Bucky who is fighting a social war and trying to fix his public image so that the Winter Soldier can become the hero. Except this would never work but I’m playing pretend. Reality he would rename himself to White Wolf but that character exists in the comics as Black Panthers brother and he’s another anti hero and Bucky can’t have that. Tho I’m so down for him becoming Shuri’s adopted brother.

Was rewatching Sam's first scene in TWS for reasons and I always forget how unsubtle the flirting is. Like!!!! Steve was so into Sam IMMEDIATELY. He was straight up tugging on Sam's pigtails in the lunch line. He was showing off. He was making an effort. He opened up like a spring flower as soon as Sam pushed back on him.

AND SAM. Sam INSTANTLY matched his energy and started giving him a check yes or no note. "Come see me at work 🥰🥰🥰🥰" He was like, I'm gonna establish a connection so good, this man's gonna be thinking about it after nazis come back from the dead to kill him again. Giving him music recommendations, flirting with his girl friends, tugging on his pigtails back.

I can't STAND IT. I have cavities now. I need to lay down. They're everything to me. "This man is half my soul" YEAH!!!! I SEE THAT

  • Bucky and Sam both have accents that come out when other people with the same accent are around them. Neither of them understand the other once they get going
  • Sam used to sing "Down in New Orleans" to the boys when they were little, as if it was a lullaby. He didn't know it was from a Disney movie
  • They both have a huge sweet tooth and they both deny it
  • They both like baseball, but they never support the same team. They do have a "so long as the Dodgers lose" rule though
  • Bucky fell first but Sam says "I love you" first
  • Bucky counts Sam's breaths to fall asleep
