The Avengers(that were left) and Wanda after AOU
- Wanda is horribly crushed after the passing of her brother. She refuses to leave her compound room. So each member of the team takes turn putting food in front of her door. Natasha does it the most, she also makes sure to add snacks through out the day.
- The thing with her grief, her powers end up getting in there. She lost her main control after Sokovia and when ever she started to feel stressed, sad, or angry her powers would hop on and make things worse. Natasha and Vision ended up being the best at calming her down when it got that bad.
- Steve smothers Wanda in constant ‘how are you feeling’ and ‘need any company?’ Wanda at first was very annoyed and would gently tell him to go away but after a month she actually started having conversations with him. They connected a lot once they started talking, especially connecting through “dead” family. Steve is willing and there to listen to any and all memory’s Wanda wants to share, and she’s sits and listens to him talk about Bucky. They get along quite well.
- Tony made a promise to himself to at least try and fix the mistakes his made in the past, and after learning of Wandas parents passing, he doesn’t know how to feel. He doesn’t talk to her when she’s in her room, decides to give her space, but he talks to to Pepper about the situation and sets up a job for Wanda in the company. It’s nothing much, most of the time she doesn’t have to do anything, but hey the point was she would get money, and his guilty conscious would go away. When he explained it to Wanda she was unsure at first but agreed to it after a bit.
- Clint pokes in every now and then to check up on Wanda. He feels guilty for Pietro’s death, so makes it up for trying to take care of Wanda. On the second month, Clint and Natasha randomly got Wanda a cat. They presented the cat excitedly to Wanda who didn’t know what to do. She named the cat Dash as he would dart around the room. Clint also brought a dart board into Wandas room and brought some darts and showed her how to throw, though she likes to cheat with her powers. He promised to take her to the farm once she was comfortable leaving her safe place. She looks forward to it.
- Vision not quite understanding privacy ended up just entering Wandas room and would listen to her ramble on and on. He would give her advice such as the infamous “What is grief, if not love everlasting”. He and Natasha started a thing we’re when she was away on mission he would take time out for Wanda and when he had to go on a mission she would make sure she was there for her.
- Natasha at first didn’t want anything to do with Wanda because of her memory dream thing, but she grew sympathy for her. During the first month when Wanda didn’t want to talk to anyone, Natasha would bring her books and tea. One the second month They started talking more, Wanda and Natasha, just like Steve, connected on lost siblings. Natasha never outright explained Yelena but she said she had a sister before the red room. Both Pietro and Yelena loved star wars so Wanda and Natasha would watch the movies together. Wanda would also show Natasha her sitcoms, Natasha would joke that all American shows were the same but she enjoyed them, especially the fact they made Wanda smile. Whenever not on mission, Natasha spent most of her time with Wanda.
- When Sam starts living in the compound, around month 2, he stumbled across Wandas room by accident. He heard her crying and just went in and rubbed her back and comforted her. The two grew close from then on, Sam taking on a brother role, though he could never replace Pietro.
- By month 4 Natasha started to try and coax Wanda out of her room. She didn’t want to go when others were around, so Natasha got her out late at night to eat some the left overs. It was quiet and nice.
- The second time Natasha got Wanda out was for lunch, everyone was there and everyone joking congratulated her for coming out. She didn’t talk much but she enjoyed it, and for the first time in ages, felt safe.
