My friend Alex, when I visited her in Leicester last week, complained to me that I don't use tumblr much anymore. SO I'M BACK.

And because I only use tumblr to go "THIS IS A GOOD THING. LOOK AT THE GOOD THING!" I will be posting some good things.

Starting with this: My Twenty-Five Favourite Songs (right now).

Some of these are subject to change. The number one song will not change. Only one song per artist is allowed. And after this post, they'll get separate video posts.

NOTES:

Said It All could easily be replaced by one of the songs on Take That's Progress album, but I haven't decided which track is my favourite yet.
Technically, Paul McDermott is on this list twice: once with DAAS and once solo. This is allowed.
If we can't do cover versions, then my favourite DAAS track is Bottle (or possibly War Song), and my favourite Tripod song is Messenger's Dream (aka the Dungeons and Dragons song NOT from Tripod Versus The Dragon.
There was a rather long, painstaking battle over what should be #25, Dance of the Knights or a Happy Mondays song. The former won, because it's the Apprentice theme, innit?
I am rather shocked at the lack of Dizzee Rascal on this list, given the amount I listen to him.
