I don’t live in the US (but I do live in North America, which makes me someone who lives in America, but not the USA) and I don’t think my country (or the US) should exist to begin with, let alone be led by a single leader or figurehead.
i want leadership to be more decentralized and democratic and i actually think having a single representative leader, be that leader a prime minister, a president, a monarch, or a chancellor etc is not compatible with a functioning democracy. a solitary leader will almost always result in a top-down and overpowered hierarchy of government that is incapable of serving the people
at the very least if my country has to exist I would see us run by a committee or a a cabinet (with no “head” of that committee) rather than a single leader
and I would also prefer that, frankly, we revert to a confederacy run by coalitions/ alliances of tribal leaders/ chiefs and councils who are selected by the traditional and ancestral methods of this land: some by consensus, some by voting/ election, and some via descendence
I do not think western style governments are conducive to justice or to equity. I think that the very existence of nation-states is a threat to life and to the wellbeing of humans and the biosphere that we live in
existentially, countries are a bad idea and a failed experiment
