The 9-1-1 writers fumbled so hard by having Buck & Taylor get into a relationship in S5. And on top of that they gave Taylor & Lou lowkey so much chemistry together??? Like they would have worked out better than Buck and Taylor tbh. I wish we just had Buck & Taylor being friends. I bet if the Bi buck plot line didn’t get shut down in S4 we could’ve gotten so many better storylines instead.
I hate that we only get Athena-Buck mother & son moments when something traumatic happens. Like why can’t I see them having fun together. Instead it’s all just “Bobby is trapped with a sniper, I’m gonna pull a Buck but you can’t come with me, Buck, because I can’t protect you.” and “Buck don’t die Bobby can’t lose another kid” and “haha our cruise ship is so fucked right now I bet Buck would love to be here doing this rescue.” Like??? Why is it all just angst and crazy shit??? At least with Buck and Bobby they have some domestic moments but there’s hardly any with Athena and Buck.
I feel like not enough people talk about the fact that Buck literally hid that he was going to therapy for months for everyone??? Like they all thought he had a girlfriend and really he was just talking to his therapist?? Like obviously there was the scene where he told Maddie and Chim about it but I really wanna know how everyone else reacted because they all know about it in 4x04. Like did Buck tell them?? Did Chim??? I wanna know so badly.. I just wish this plot point had been discussed more
