This is the gofund me for my husband's cowroker/friend. While camping, his 3yo daughter tripped and fell into the campfire and got severally burned. She's at the Shriners burn ward in Cincinnati.

Both her parents normally work but she's frightened and both want to stay with her during this time, they could use all the help, prayers and positive thoughts they can get atm.

Lyric Writing Help?

Ok Tumblr, you have many sides, fandoms, as well as dark areas of beauty and confusion. Please tell me there is a lyrical Tumblr where I can find some direction? Tips? Anything?  I normally write fiction (fan and original) and I have a story idea about a singer. It was inspired by many songs:  Someone to watch over me (Hayley Sings by Rachael MacFarlane) Loneliness (Hayley Sings by Rachael MacFarlane) Makin’ Whoopie (Hayley Sings by Rachael MacFarlane) Far Longer Than Forever (The Swan Princess Soundtrack) At The Begining (Anastasia soundtrack) Obviously, I can’t use these songs, so I decided to write songs of my own to put in their place. However, I’ve hit a brick wall. I have no idea what I’m doing and would like any tips for writing lyrics. 

Really struggling with this itch to write either a fanfic dealing with Destiny the game Exo's and the rebooting process or writing an origin fic about a loved one is lost to an accident and brought back via science to be slightly different and memory free---and the difficulties it would offer.

Language Help

Could use use some assitance Spanish Tumblr!  So I’ve been working on a piece that involves a dual lingual male mc. He speaks Spanish and English as it takes place in the states. I've been a bit lax in keeping up my studies of Spanish, but I do remember quite a bit--and one of my favorite terms was the word ‘Mariquita’ which I had been taught meant ‘ladybug’. 

I had planned on him nicknaming his love interest ‘Mariquita’ because a ladybug lands on her when they are trying to come up with her nickname--as it is tradition that everyone in their group of friends has one--and she dislikes the idea of being called ‘ladybug’ in english. However, I was reminded that translations across the globe are not always universal and that in some Spanish speaking countries the word ‘mariquita’ is a derogatory term toward gay men. I DO NOT WANT IT TO COME ACROSS THAT WAY (but I would still very much like Shane to call Ava by this name as a term of endearment.) So I tried to do a bit of research and I’m coming up a bit emptied handed other than the same piece of information repeated across different sites. So I shall turn to tumblr, does anyone know of any differences between countries that speak Spanish that ‘Mariquita’ might be a derogatory word rather than ‘ladybug’? Should I just pick another name all together? Would you have any suggestions on pet names or names of endearment?

So lets buckle down and make a vampiric language!!
