friendly reminder NOT TO vote for poland tonight:
* the preselections were rigged
* voting rules were changed 3 days before them and the new rules made it impossible for public vote to make any difference so jury’s vote was binding
* blanka was the only contestant sitting in the green room during the show and the host talked with her multiple times
* she was sitting next to head of the jury’s son (and allegedly they had a thing going on)
* her choreographer was on the jury as well
* her song was promoted on the national broadcaster’s station in prime time before the preselections and performed on their new year concert - no other contestant was given such opportunity
* public fave, jann and his song “gladiator”, received over 30k votes from the public (and cheers louder than finland on tuesday from the audience in the studio!!!) but jury placed him on 4th place which made it impossible for him to win, blanka was second with over 80% less votes from public (6k) but received max points from the jury
* head of the jury made a lot of contradictory comments later on about jury voting (timing, how they did it, etc.) and they only presented combined points already recalculated for esc points
* they also broke like 90% of other rules
* the cherry on top was also that they published an article that blanka won 4h before she actually won
* they haven’t answered any of the petitions and letters from fans and esc organisations that called for internal investigation and publication of jury members individual voting sheets
* also keep in mind that poland was one of the countries that had their jury votes banned by ebu last year for irregular voting pattern
* also she doesn’t know how to sing, her song is the most basic pop shit, she pronounces “baby, it’s kind of crazy” in the most weird way ever, and like let’s be real her performance was lame
i know this semi-final is incredibly boring but blanka and polish broadcaster (TVP) HAVE TO be humbled and NOT ADVANCE TO THE GRAND FINAL SO DO NOT VOTE FOR HER PLSSSSS
