Hey, I saw in a post from September 2023 that you said 'corporate greed' didn't allow non-Off Gun pairings like ToddBlack or KathaDome to happen, and I just wanna ask how? How does Gun getting in other pairings affect anything?
I am not well-versed in the ins and outs of TBL. I know they're like a 'ship' and supposed to be lovey-dovey and all, but married couples even have one spouse doing their own thing on TV, kissing or even NC scenes with other actors. Or is that not allowed in Thailand either?
Hi! I mean that's what I'm guessing since the pairing culture is super tight in Thailand. Like these bl pairings are brands of their own with large fanbases. The pairings will act in multiple series together and their names are literally attached together. Their selling power is huge so it just seems like the folks at the top might not want to disturb that to protect the money. Also fan reactions can be unpredictable if they see one half of their pairing be with someone else.
They don't seem to have an issue with pairing one half with a girl though (Black x Eugene, White x His Russian girlfriend).. but not with a boy. I mean, originally Black's ship was with Gram, but that was completely erased which was a damn shame! And the potential of toddblack sharing just one angry hateful kiss on screen! It would have changed the world! But corporations took that from us.. no wonder black fights against them 😤🤣
I do hope this changes though.
PS If Khathadome are brothers, then I guess they are bros from Sweet Home Alabama
