BALL GOWN - the most formal female attire for social occasions. It is traditionally a full-skirted gown reaching the floor, made of luxurious fabric, and delicately and exotically trimmed.

TRICK OR TREAT!
Preparing for one of my favourite seasons in the Disney Parks, HALLOWEEN! We are less than a month away from the start of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties in the parks, and I just can't wait to see the decorations; pumpkins everywhere, Jack Skellington and Sally meet-n-greets, great shows and costumes and Villains stumbling all over the park. Truly a magical time!
Some pics to set the mood ;)

LIVE ACTION vs. FINAL ANIMATION
We all know that in the golden years, as reference for animation, there were live action characters to study movement, posing, lighting, etc. It is all about filling the frame with proportions and personality. Here are some examples for some films, comparing a photostat wit the actor's performance and the result, showing how greatly they influenced the animators.
Love how they just used a Mickey Mouse plush to reference Michael in the Peter Pan shot.
Many of these actors were favorites and were hired for various characters, like Helene Stanley who was a live action reference for Cinderella and Anastasia Tremaine (Cinderella), Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Anita Radcliffe (101 Dalmatians) or Kathryn Beaumont who was for Alice (Alice in Wonderland) and Wendy Darling (Peter Pan) as seen above.

TOP 10 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER IN WDW
The summer is not around the corner anymore, it has arrived! Celebrating that today is the Monstrous All-Nighter, here is a list of must-do's this upcoming summer in WDW, according to Disney Parks Blog.
1. The very anticipated Monstrous Summer all-nighter! On May 24th, 24 hours of Magic Kingdom fun and partying with characters in their pajamas.
2. On the Backlot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll find the Monsters University Student Union, complete with a view of the campus.
3. Ride the “Monsterail” as it zips around in scare-riffic style, transporting you throughout the resort with the familiar "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor, manténganse alejado de las puertas".
4. Visit the New Fantasyland and take a trip under the sea with your favourite mermaid in Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid.
5. If the heat has got the best of you, nothing like freshening up with Disney's traditional frosty treat: the Dole Whip. This pineapple-flavored ice cream concoction is available since Walt's time, when Disneyland park opened.
6. The excitement of the park can be quite tiring. You might want to check out Senses Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to recharge your batteries. It could help convince your parents that a vacation to WDW can be relaxing as well.
7. How about a night out at Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Downtown Disney. It's a good place to grab some sushi as well.
8. Hitting the water parks is a must! Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park offers a huge thrill with a plunge down Summit Plummet!
9. Try cooling off with speeds up to 65 mph in the Test Track Presented by Chevrolet newly re-imagined track at Epcot.
10. The best way to end the day is with a firework show! You can go either to Epcot or Magic Kingdom.

A day like today, Walter Elias Disney officially acquired the copyrights of Mickey Mouse. So in, a way, it's Mickey's birthday! Happy birthday!
VILLAINS WITHOUT MAKE-UP!
They may looked all put together, but at some point, they reveal their true colours! And it's not just the ladies. Here's the make-up, no make-up comparisons of some of our favourite Disney villains!
DISNEY'S NINE OLD MEN
Had to take the time to create an ode to these nine incredible men who were there when it all started. It was tough to find autographs of some of them though.
Which one is your personal favorite? Personally I can't choose only one, but some stand out more for me. How about you guys?
