But overcome the anxiety and nervousness of the preparations, there is nothing left but waiting. Waiting that weighs like a boulder. Waiting that frightens. Am I mourning the man that Liam became or the childhood the band gave me? Am I mourning myself? The band that influenced who I became in my formative years? Because Liam became someone I couldn’t support, the things he did, but I still feel such a weird sadness. What am I grieving?
