Uno family as Zelda games
or which of these is more representative of each member:
Monty: Ocarina of Time. The ability to switch between childhood and adulthood is completely Monty: even if he can’t physically turn into a kid, his heart still has a kid innocence side. If I really have to use my headcanon, his other game would be The Wind Waker, for the search of his younger brother, just like for Link and Aryll (yeah, he gets a second game because he's the best).
Nigel: Majora’s Mask. Direct sequel to OoT, it’s like its son, just like Nigel. Also, the fact that he has to fight very creepy creature in his childhood, way more creepy than the rest kid the Links’ adventures.
Margaret: Skyward Sword. Hard to decide which one for her, but I’m going with the first game in the Zelda timeline. That’s because the Link and Zelda from that game are the first of their characters, just like Monty and Margaret are technically the first boy and girl operatives of the 7th age. Also, the obvious romantic thematic in that game is perfect for her and Monty.
The DCFDTL: Four Swords Adventures. It’s a group of Links… The DC are a group of kids… that’s it. That’s the reason. No other one.
Father: Breath of the Wild. Chaotic pyromaniac set on the loose spreading havoc across the world with his flames and shit. That’s it. That’s the reason. (you really expected something else from him?)
Grandfather: The Legend of Zelda. That’s the first Zelda game, so he gets the oldest one obviously. No other reason.
