Hayao Miyazaki said "I want to portray a slightly different relationship, one where the two mutually inspire each other to live". It means that true love is two people inspiring each other to live. It's so easy to lose our passion but keep each other motivated to work even harder is what love is. And if we look at it this way then life goona be so colourful for everyone.
One of my favorite thing to do is watching Studio Ghibli cooking videos. It's just so therapeutic and relaxing.
Whisper of the Heart is my favorite movie and I love seeing other people appreciate it! It reminds me of a quote from Hayao Miyazaki, "I've become skeptical of the unwritten rule that just because a boy and a girl appear in the same feature, a romance must ensue. The quote which you share I think that's summerizes the whole movie. The whole story is just not about love, it's also about giving each other hope to live, it's about fighting for each other and to live for little things. I personally really enjoy and adore Miyazaki's work. All of his work is just so comforting and soft.
Read this quote somewhere in which he said "I would like to make a film to tell children it's good to be alive." And he really did that. Well, I hope we keep loving or enjoying the things which we love or enjoy to do.
