1x14 - Progress
Kira: 26 year old lesbian deep in the trenches of comphet. A former child soldier who has been fighting all her life and suddenly doesn't know what to do in the peace.
Dax: 351 year old symbiont that is in its 9th incarnation, a 28 year old woman. Her previous incarnation was a dirty old man who literally died during sex, and afterwards ended up in the body of a young woman. She is losing no time lusting after all the freaks of the universe.
It's not at all surprising they have vastly different takes on the attractiveness of men!
This is, btw, who they are talking about.
Morn. A character who is named but only hangs out at the bar, silently. There's an entire episode about him, but he never talks.
In STO, he's still there. You can interact with him, and it does a montage sequence where you pour your heart out to him and he apparently gives you amazing, life-changing advice about it.
It's cut in such a way that you never see his half of the conversation.
(Also, he's named after Norm from Cheers.)
since "cage" is a last name and there are girls named "chastity" it would be theoretically be possible for a girl to be named chastity cage
Wake up babe new Austin Powers girl just dropped

Love that this alien arm is clearly just green bubblewrap. 70s prosthetics I love you
Classic SF once again betrayed by a clear, static-free signal and a flat digital screen
This is how I remember classic Who and Star Trek, folks, with signal ghosts and scanning lines (but usually with more static/snow)
Also, this is how most of 90s (or prior) media is supposed to be watched or even played. We're nowadays used to like the 8-bit/16-bit chopped aspect of pixel art, because of nostalgia feelings about playing old games in SNES or any other console from that time, but we often forget that when we see this kind of art, old or new, if we are seeing it in a modern screen, it might not do justice to what it was supposed to look like.
This is how Chrono Trigger looks like in modern screens
And this is how Chrono Trigger looks like in old CRT screens.
