there are no words to properly explain how much I hate that infernal ‘Mina is the reincarnation of Dracula’s true love/wife/whatever’ plotline – which never existed in the book (not even alluded too) & that they keep using on screen, despite the fact that it’s a complete bore next to the original story dynamics…

(that’s good to know – I’m sure the idea can be used well but I did roll my eyes when I saw that the new bbc Dracula is apparently going with that plotline again... I was looking forward a new Dracula adaptation but I could do without the added romance/romantic triangle)
