31,000 likes...dave malloy is the peoples princess <3
finding out that pierre’s age in the great comet is mid-twenties to late thirties has honestly made the whole thing SO much funnier....”just another sad old man living out his final days in moscow” dude you’re only 28
this is your reminder that while I've largely abandoned tumblr aside from lurking, I am alive, well, and fucking insufferable on twitter
I need everyone to know that in War and Peace Pierre LITERALLY rescues a baby from a burning building and then immediately gets himself arrested for beating the shit out of a dude trying to sexually assault a woman, like has your fave EVER
Natasha: Leave me alone yes leave me alone I hate you Sonya! I hate you Sonya! I hate you, I hate you, you’re my enemy forever!

did you love him, did you love that batman
“Haven’t you any candygrams of hers? ANY CANDYGRAMS?”
so according to this article dave malloy is colorblind and blue is one of the few colors he can see well
and the other day i was thinking “wow, most of great comet is in really warm shades of gold and red and such” and i knew that meant he couldn’t see the colors of it very well
and then i remembered in “no one else,” there’s a beautiful goosebump-inducing moment where the golden light suddenly turns to blue as natasha sings “the moon”
which is exquisite enough on its own
but then i realized that in that moment dave could most likely see the color well? and that suddenly everything just comes into view? and that just makes me a bit emotional and i wanted to share that thought
this song about love and happiness suddenly bathed in color…
She began to cry And a greater sense of pity, tenderness, and love overflowed Pierre’s heart He felt the tears begin to trickle underneath his spectacles And he hoped that no one would see
deneebenton: Happy @greatcometbwayopening @oaksmash !! #blackrussianstaking over the ‘Great White Way’ 👊🏾🙌🏾
Dear bewildered and awkward Pierre
