In Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye series, Clint has named his dog “Lucky”.

And I’m just now reading Edmonson’s Black Widow. In it, Natasha has a cat, which she has named “Liho”.

For those of you who don’t know, Liho or Likho is a Russian spirit/creature type thing who is the embodiment of bad luck.

So Clint’s dog is named for good luck, and Nat’s cat is named for the opposite.

You know what’s even funnier? We didn’t know this when we came up with “Liho.”  

Happy coincidence or the power of the Marvel zeitgeist? You decide.

IT’S OKAY I”M GREAT AT PLASMA CANNONS

This is the picture I commissioned from Gingerhaze! My exact email went like this: "I would like to commission a picture of Hawkeye and Black Widow dressed up like James Bond and a Bond Girl. (I’m not picky on which one is dressed like which, wink wink)" and Noelle knew exactly what to do.

I’m keeping the high-res version all to myself (except for the copy that I’m going to print and hang in my cubicle at work, because people should know who they’re dealing with) :P
