Finished some more squats for Necromunda after coming to the end of the campaign I was playing in. Learned I needed a leader with a cheaper loadout than the one I started with if I want to play in another campaign. Also wanted a dedicated model for a champion with a boltgun so they stand out a little more from the normal gangers with boltguns.
Finished an Eridani Light Horse lance, with a Guillotine, a Mongoose, a Battlemaster, and a Shadow Hawk.
Tried using Vallejo Xpress color for the green and I gotta say I really liked using it.
Finished painting a Federated Suns lance with a Wolverine, a Victor, an Orion, and a Valkyrie.
Finished another lance for my custom mercs, consisting of a Jenner, a Dragon, a Stalker, and a Gladiator. Planning on having the Dragon be the commander for the merc unit so I painted some flames on the main gun just to give the mech a bit more flare.
Currently in a Necromunda campaign and my gang ended up with more juves than I was anticipating so I painted a couple more for my Squats. Their names are Padraig and Jimothy, at least until they die or get horribly maimed (which has unfortunately turned out to be less likely than it happening to my leader or champions).
Finished another lance for my Lyrans. With a Centurion, a Banshee, a Zeus, and a Sentinel.
Finished the second half of the AGOAC box set with the scheme for my custom mercenaries.
Now that I've finished my 2000pt army for 40k it's time for Battletech. Finished painting one half of the AGOAC box for my Lyrans.
Finally back up to 2000 points fully painted for the first time since the end of 9th edition. Glad to finally have all the stuff I had lined up for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance done, now I can finally shift all my focus to Battletech.
Finished painting another Einhyr Champion for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance. Really like the 2023 Warhammer day mini cause I generally prefer my Characters to be in more relaxed and commanding poses, personally. Plus having a champ in a different pose is nice when I have two of them in my list.
Finished another squad of Hearthguard for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance. Just have one last character to paint and I'll be done with all the stuff I have in my THA backlog.
Finished painting a Grimnyr for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance.
Finished painting another squad of Hearthguard for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance. After a number of games I found that my army could really use some more staying power and some high AP 2 damage shots so I built these, and another squad I got lined up.
Finished painting another Sagitaur for my Trans-Hyperian Alliance. Motivation was a bit low after a vacation, but I'm gonna work on cranking out all the remaining unpainted stuff I have lined up for my THA before I shift focus to Battletech for a while. Just so it doesn't have to sit around waiting to get painted for another half a year or so.
I've been getting really into Battletech recently and finally had some time to paint some of the minis, started with the ones in the Beginner Box. I painted the Griffin in Lyran colors, and the Vindicator I came up with a scheme for a custom mercenary unit I'm going to call the "Panzer Dragons". I'm still working on designing the logo for them and making a custom transfer sheet but I think I got the paint scheme for them down. These were a really nice break from Warhammer stuff, they don't have as much going on so they paint up faster and I tried some new stuff with Zenithal and Contrast paints with my Merc color scheme which was fun.
Converted and painted some Objective Markers from spare bits and bases. Going to make a custom kill team mission around them, where players have to control the smaller terminals while they have an operative perform an action on the larger comm station to earn victory points.
Finished painting some shipping containers and some scatter terrain. Should have just enough painted terrain to cover a board for Combat Patrol (Though I could use some more tall line of sight blockers) and more than enough for kill team now.
