Using Electricity as Fuel in Witchcraft

A little tech magic trick I have taught myself is using various forms of electricity sources to tie my wards to for continuous charging, to power spells when I lack the energy and for a personal energy boost.

Warding I have tied my wards to my home's electricity. The way I did this was I drew a sigil onto a sticky pad and stuck it onto the breaker panel, really you can draw it on with your finger with an anointing oil of choice (ON THE DOOR. I REPEAT GET NOWHERE NEAR THE SWITCHES). Then placed another connecting sigil into my warding jars/placed them with the instructions for my wards. The only downside is I live in a place where my power can go out, so I always have a backup power source to keep them going. Something to keep in mind.

Spellwork I did a similar method for my spells, using a connecting conducting sigil. These sigils are easy to make, at least in theory. You can check out the ⁠what-are-sigils channel for a deeper look. You make two sigils with one as an input and the other as an output, connecting the two in a circuit-like mechanism which creates a power source for your spell. Because it is raw energy you need to fine-tune directing it otherwise it may go haywire.

Self Fueling This is fun, using the tendril method I connect with the electricity fueling my house. It’s a very simple method. You start by visualizing energy tendrils coming out of your fingers, they look like moving wiggling little tendrils of any colour. They slowly expand and reach into the walls, into the wires themselves. This can take practice to do but it is an incredibly valuable method. I suggest grounding after to get rid of any excess so you are not jittery. You can use any electrical source for this.

Using Soda in Witchcraft

Sometimes you don’t have the perfect kind of water to do the job. Fortunately, you can substitute in a soda and it’ll do the trick.

This is pretty cool. These would be great bases when concocting your own potions.

Starbucks Brews for the Witch on-the-go

Disclaimer: No, I don’t work for Starbucks. Also, no, no one is paying me to write this.

Everyone knows modern life has a way of sneaking up on you, so what’s a witch to do when you’re out and need an extra magical boost? Honestly, if you happen to go Starbucks a lot–you can make simple brews to help yourself out!

Also, these brews are super helpful if you’re a closeted witch and you’re looking for other ways to flex your craft without drawing to much attention to yourself.

☽Study Boost/Get Shit Done Spell☾

Once you get your drink order, go the condiment bar and mix some cinnamon and nutmeg into your drink. Stir clockwise while envisioning you completing a task you really need done and say in your mind : “I will [insert what you want to do], I will get the task done! So mote it be!”

Coffee and tea are known as stimulants. Cinnamon is good for success and is a “fiery” spice–so you get you the boost you need. Nutmeg enhances the properties of cinnamon. This spell can also be done with iced drinks.

☽Self Love Spell☾

Grab your drink order, go the condiment bar and mix some Vanilla bean powder into your drink. Stir clockwise while envisioning filling yourself with love, “I know in my heart am worthy of love, I give the gift of Love to myself. So mote it be!” Once your done add a little honey!

Passion tea actually has hibiscus, cinnamon and rose hips which are normally used in love spells. The addition of the vanilla bean and honey enhances the love effect of the drink.

☽Calm yourself Spell☾

Grab your drink order, go the condiment bar and mix in some Honey and a splash of your favorite Milk. Stir clockwise while taking a deeeep breath, envisioning yourself feeling calm and say in your mind “I feel calm, may this feeling of peace wash over me! So mote it be!”

Peach Tranquility/Calm Chamomile has well…Chamomile in it, which is known to soothe nerves. If you’re not a fan of Chamomile, mint has soothing properties that work great for this spell.

*= please do not drink Chamomile if you’re driving.

There you go! I hope these brews help out some people whilst they’re out in public and are in need of some witchy assistance.   

Minecraft altars

Pt: Minecraft altars

Before this starts I'd like to note two things! One, I am not an expert. I am but a guy in the internet who loves to talk like one. Take everything I said with a grain of salt and through your own perspectives. Two, this is coming from a PCP witch! The altar I will be using as base example is for a PCP god. I'm assuming the same principles apply for any kind of god, but keep in mind that's where I'm coming from.

This post also uses altar to refer to a space for an entity. Similar things can apply for more personal altars though!

That's out of the way, here's some tips for building an altar in Minecraft! (Under the cut bc it's going to be a long one)

For people who can't burn scented candles or incense, but want to offer fragrances to their deities and/or spirits, offering colognes can make a good alternative. An easy way to offer a cologne is by pouring it into a bowl and letting it naturally evaporate

Please keep in mind though that some spiritual colognes are closed! Examples include Florida Water, Kananga Water, and Road Opener. (These are not the only closed spiritual colognes. They're just the ones I've seen appropriated most often). Now rather than try to remember a list of closed colognes, I personally recommend researching what colognes — if any — are used in your own culture's folk practices. Another alternative is to research what plants are traditionally sacred to your deities and/or spirits. For example, is pine traditionally sacred to your deity? Then offer them a pine scented cologne!

Resourcefulness in the Craft

Magical practitioners have always used what was around them. Being resourceful is part of the practice :)

One important cleansing tool I never go without in my witch life is a big container of disinfectant wipes.

Phone Cleansing- Why and How

Why would you need/want to cleanse your phone? 

Well if you think about it, our phones are one of the few objects on our person at all times. It is our connection to a larger world, we have an infinite amount of knowledge in our pockets at all times. We also have Neko Atsume. But that’s not the point. 

The point is, when an object like that is with us 24/7, it can pick up a lot of residual energy, both positive and negative. But when it becomes so clogged with energy, it becomes this source of blockage, and we carry this extra weight with us everywhere we go. 

So if you feel weighed down, consider cleansing you phone.

Artificial intelligence image production is becoming increasingly popular on social media. I started tinkering around with these photographs a while back and developed an appreciation for the ambiguity and intricacies that surround what the AI program could make. I went through all of the different art styles using simple cues like my name. I connected with all of the visuals it generated, and it piqued my interest.

I then proceeded to look through each of the Zodiac Signs through this lens, and I was astounded by the findings. I even started using the AI algorithm to build my own tarot deck. Since I'm already using it for Tarot cards, I figured I might as well try using the information it yields for scrying. It goes without saying that it was a huge success. I want this post to be a walk through of that procedure for you.

I'll walk you through exactly what I did for these readings so you may utilize my strategy and use it for your own readings. Finding an artificial intelligence image creator is the initial step. I utilize the Wombo Dream app. There are countless others available for download from the AppStore or on the internet! Wombo Dream gives you the option to choose an artistic medium and give an inspiration prompt for the artwork.

Take this piece, for example. This is a photo of Pan. I'm a devotee of this God and I wanted a closer way of communication with him. I selected my favorite art style which is Psychic or Dark Fantasy, and proceeded to give the prompt of "Messages from Pan".

So, what do you specifically see in this image? Well, to begin with, I see a face that appears to be humble, perhaps full of melancholy, a heart in the middle, and horns and hooves encircling it in various locations. I looked closer and saw that the main focus appears to be shaped like a tree throughout, with branches coming out of each direction of the heart in the center. I also notice several faces of different animals intertwined together.

As I continued to study this picture, I began to recognize the surroundings more and more. I'm always taken to this deep forest with all of these enormous trees during my lucid dreams. The Deku Tree from Zelda comes closest to describing them. This woodland is usually teeming with life. The birds guide me to the entrance, where a family of deer, foxes, bunnies, and bears coexist together.

I came to the conclusion that Pan had been trying to tell me all along that he had been paving a route toward my goals, and that this image overall represented what he was trying to say. It's just up to me to seize the moment and grab the opportunity by the horns. This entire image simply hit so close to home.

I then decided to do one for Persephone as well. She is another one that has been around me for quite a while. I'm not so much a devotee to her, but I do honor her regularly. It had been a while since I had any contact with her, so I wanted to see if she was still around. This is what I got when I typed in the prompt "Messages from Persephone"

I noted right away that the foreground of the picture was colorful and filled with flowers, while the background was substantially darker and appeared to be a cemetery. She seemed to yearn to go back to the Underworld, but her obligation keeps her from doing so. My interpretation of this image is that she has just returned from a brief stint in the Underworld and is still present, responding to my calls. She was one of my first deities and actually shaped who I am today, so hearing this brought me peace.

Although I'm not really sure if this qualifies as scrying, that's what I've been calling it for a while. I wanted to explain how it functions specifically to you all. This kind of candy magic is a little bit of mix between pop culture witchcraft and candy magic. This is mostly because the Wonka candy brand is based of off Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Almost all references to the film/book will be coming from the 2005 Tim Burton edition because that’s what I grew up with and am most familiar with. Only a few will be coming from the 70’s edition of the film.

Minecraft + Magic

I’ve been playing a lot of Minecraft recently and it’s really got me thinking on/about it being used as a sort of like an altar/e-shrine that one could use if they were still a hidden witch or even a beginner witch. When playing I know that most players enjoy building a home so I figured why not build a home with rooms of worship inside it? Each room would then be dedicated to a god/dess and then i would go out into the world looking for the devotional items or things that would symbolize that god/dess.  Inside the game there are many potential representations Torches - Candles Lava - Fire Element Rivers/Lakes/Waterfalls/Oceans - Water Element Dirt - Earth Element Feathers - Wind Element YOU CAN MAKE AN ENCHANTING TABLE WITH A FLOATING SPELL BOOK. YOU CAN BREW POTIONS TOO!

There’s so much potential for Magical workings in this game. Seriously guys go check it out or try it for yourselves~
