Ah lads not again
I’d pay good money for a teen wolf spin off with stiles, Peter, Danny and Chris Argent as the main characters

melissa mccall is my favorite woman actor on teen wolf.
that being said, the parents (and peter) were amazing. I wonder what a spin-off would be like, from their takes and perspectives

so this is probably an unpopular opinion, but allison’s character irritates me SO much in season 1.
I think the writers tried too hard to seem tough. but she’s spending a lot of the season going, “I’m not a girly girl, I’m tougher than that.”
And it never struck me till now, what annoyed me about that. See, the thing is, what was wrong with being girly or crying or anything?
At the end of it, i felt like she was almost pliable to her family, in the first season her aunt and the second season, her grandfather. (granted, I know her mother’s death triggered off that)
The Argent’s family story was interesting, not just the idea of a code to keep them from killing people indiscriminately, but also that they matriarchal.
However, chris definitely was my favorite member of the argent family over everyone else.

can we take a minute to admire how cool beacon hills is?
When the coach interrupts Danny and Scott ‘dancing’, the entire auditorium goes silent and there is open disgust at coach’s perceived homophobia.
the entire crowd was ready to fight coach over letting two guys dance.
Teen Wolf Pet Peeve #1
How did Mr. Harris remember how to draw the Argent’s necklace, but he couldn’t notice it when Allison was wearing it?
Or was Allison just not it his chemistry class?
If Scott had just dated Stiles, I get the feeling things would have gone so much more smoothly
Should I be doing something productive with my life?
Probably
Am I?
Not unless binge watching teen wolf counts

plot twist: a young man has always been raised by a single mother without a father, but it’s okay. he doesn’t need a “masculine” influence in his life—he doesn’t not need that “strong male figure”, that “strong male role model.” he can see the strength in his mother, she is his figure, always was, always will be. he has feminine aspects and masculine aspects. neither have to do with how he was raised or for his lack of a father figure. he is feminine and masculine because that’s who he is. he does not struggle with “what it means to be a man.” he knows what it means to be a man. to be a man is to be masculine. to be a man is to be feminine. to be a man is to be both. to be a man is to be neither. men come in all different shapes and sizes. there is every way to be a man. if you identify as a man, then you are a man. that’s it. he has a sense of who he is and turned out just fine without a “strong male figure” in his life. no one actually needs one.
I rarely if ever reblog Teen Wolf-related things, but I’m doing this one because the original post is brilliant and the TW reference is on point.
