In light of the BNHA manga finally coming to an end: I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported this silly little project of mine. It still boggles my mind just how big a following this blog got at its peak. Even getting as far as I did was a huge undertaking, and even if I never see it to completion, I'm honestly quite satisfied.
The fact that this series had such an unsatisfying and lackluster ending (for me personally) feels both vindicating because I dropped it ages ago, and disappointing because I gave it more than a chance. Honestly, looking back, my time as an MHA fan was not a good one, and it was marred by petty drama that I kept separate from this blog, but I hope this little corner of the fandom, where we celebrate the undisputed best boy Eijirou Kirishima, brought you as much joy and whimsy as it did for me. As always and forever: stay sturdy.

Anyway, question being what's Kirishima's favorite Green Day album: Kirishima strikes me as someone who's very old school, so I'd have to say Dookie. Congrats on how your life's going nowand good luck with school! I honestly feel the same way about mha and I have for a while. I still care about kirishima, but the actual story has gotten kind of boring and I've moved on. I honestly even forgot I followed you, but it's good to see you're doing well and you shouldn't worry about this account if you don't want to. You can even transform it into a personal blog and if people don't like it they can just unfollow. But seriously, it's good to see you're doing well and do your best at school!
Thanks for the kind words! And yeah, the story has definitely lost me. I dropped it in light of recent events a few weeks back, which is just as well cause Kiri hasn't been making that many appearances since the war arc began. It just means less pages for me to scan through.
And as much as I love to write my little essays of excuses as to why I'm not updating, this will never become a personal blog. Having my name, face and life attached to a BNHA account would be socially sentencing myself to death. Iykyk and all that but it would be so easy for ppl to find me elsewhere if I divulge too much. This is just a hobby of mine for when I have a little free time, which I've most recently been spending playing Elden Ring anyway. That being said, if you ever wanna chat just lmk!
Ah shit, it happened again. So, uhhh...anyone still here? If you are, then hello! Kirishimod is still alive and well. I realize it’s been over a year of radio silence, but I’ve decided to stop using Twitter for the sake of my mental health and come back to Tumblr (but not immediately). Anyway, for those curious, here’s the abridged version of what’s been going on:
2021 was...pretty shit. In a “wow, 2020 wasn’t actually that bad” kinda way. Work put me through the wringer and was seriously affecting me mentally, and to top it off, I got COVID literally on Christmas Day, almost like 2021 giving me a final middle finger on its way out. But the good news is 2022 has been a pretty good year for me personally. I don’t wanna say it’s my best year per se, since sometimes my workload becomes too much to bear, but I’ve been seeing a lot of positive changes in my life. To sum up: I had my first vacation in 2 1/2 years, I finally found an apartment where I can afford to pay the rent by myself in full, and I’m finally in my last semester as an undergrad. All that while working full time and planning my stereotypical college grad globetrot (which I think will be relatively safe to do once 2023 rolls around). So, the question remains: what does that mean for this blog?
Basically, it means that any updates are gonna have to keep waiting. School is top priority right now, and my final isn’t until mid-December, so at the absolute earliest, you can expect updates by then. I just thought I’d let you guys know now since I just got back into Tumblr. I do have one last confession to make, however: I’m no longer invested in MHA as a series, and honestly, I haven’t been for a long time. Those of you reading the manga probably agree with me when I say this ongoing arc has been dragging on for too long now. This has also been a factor in the lack of regular updates. But, that being said, I do hope to get back to this project after more pressing matters have been dealt with. I hope you all are doing well, and as always, stay sturdy!
