Nah the way people are hatin on Gwen for not immediately helping Miles is messed up, she is a teenager- literally every adult in her life is failing her. They are the only voices of reason she's had, and have been her only sources of stability.
Also where is this energy for Peter B.
I feel like this stems from people seeing her as "Miles' love interest" so they have higher expectations for her (seeing as there's been a clear competition between her and Spiderbyte in people's complaints)
-instead of seeing her as a girl who is just going through her own shit and still undoubtedly cares deeply about her friend despite how misguided her ways at caring are (again, bc the adults in her life are telling her this is how she should help Miles)
