Excessive Euphoria

I know this parallel has been done to death and I’m notorious for jumping on the bandwagon waaaaaay too late, but I just felt like drawing Sycamore and Xerneas just appeared XD 

Also I’m pretty sure I drew Xerneas wrong 

Doing a couple of these as postcards for my brother from another mother, Jake Paque, so he has cool custom art to autograph for his fans. First up is probably his most popular voice role, Professor Sycamore from Pokemon XY. Gonna have these printed up for him when we hang out at our table on Free Comic Book Day.

Sycamore doesn’t like to be a giant. He didn’t know where Lysandre was

I could do without the Lysandre part, but boy you have no idea how my heart soared to see some giant Platane!

I personally think that he would LOVE being a giant (at least until the troublesome living parts become more apparent).

It’s a shame I’ve waited around 2 years before ever posting that I had chub Sycamore pictures. A damn shame.

Words can hardly express how much I adore all of these. My favorite is how happily he’s looking into that bag of puffs, and then we have him carefully holding that big full tummy. Ahhh, I love!  > v <

Then there’s how luxuriously soft he looks trying to smoosh all his plush into those pants. And his reaction to suddenly growing out of his shirt? “It’s science! AMAZING!” XD  And finally, that back view... *sigh* Such a tease. I want to see the front!

That shirt certainly won’t be holding up much longer.

For the anon who wanted a stuffed up Sycamore. First time ever drawing him! I’ll do the other part to your request too~ (σゝ∀・)

These doodles have a special place in my heart. I first saw them back in the spring, back before the OP deleted everything.

I was feeling really down one evening and tried doing Google and Tumblr searches to see if I could find any chubby Platanes. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything, so finding this was a big surprise. It lifted my mood for the entire rest of the evening, and now I can’t help feeling a little better whenever I think back on that.

So thanks, @grosslyghostly. This little thing helped someone.
