Excessive Euphoria

It kind of looks like Jet casually insulted Joe and walked off. And Joe’s like, “Hey, wait, I was about to sock you one.”  XD

That’s exactly what happened.

Except it’s followed by Joe saying Jet’s name in the gayest manner possible.

Woah, wait, are you serious? I was kidding and actually thought he might be wishing Joe good luck in a race or something (because of the thumbs-up gesture, if that’s even what that is).

So on the one hand, I’m proud that I was able to read the scene perfectly without any sound or subtitles, but on the other hand, I feel foolish for reiterating what happened. : P I really need to hurry up and watch this.

Ahhh, it's so funny to me to see cartoon characters advertise products that aren't their own merchandise. It's just regular, real-life stuff! I recently came across a bunch of commercials starring the cast of One Piece advertising cars, drinks and other things. It felt so surreal.

Of course my favorite part of this video is when Jet turns and looks at the camera. ; 3  He looks so unhappy, though...

I’m screaming on the inside; this is SO ADORABLE! I kind of want this on a t-shirt! But...you know what we need now? A Superman-based AU. Jet literally being Superman.

He enjoys his powers, but has to hide them as he’s growing up for fear of being treated as a monster. But he’s a good guy who wants to use his abilities to help people. So when he meets the others - Joe, Albert, etc. - who have been doing the same, he gets excited and wants them to band together as a team. (Or maybe Gilmore’s the one bringing them together, and Jet’s all too eager to accept such a proposal.)

I really, really like this. And to answer the posed question, it seems to me that they have been cornered by someone at a cliff. Maybe Joe trusted someone he shouldn’t have and Jet’s like, “Are you kidding me? It was so obvious they were lying.”

Or, to use dialogue lifted from “The Road To El Dorado”: “Well don’t blame me - !” “I BLAME YOU.”

I kind of don’t like when people joke about Jet and Joe using loads of hair gel. I want to believe that Jet’s hair is naturally, luxuriously fluffy and buoyant, and this little comic portrays that just right!

The very first scene I saw of Cyborg 009 (animated), and what compelled me to get into it...and Jet.
