I can feel your bloodlust constantly seething in my gut.
I've lost track of the number of times I've had to resist the sudden urge to take my knife and stab myself.
I love this series already

I’ve been re-watching Paranoia Agent recently & was inspired to do a little painting based on it.
When I went to Lincoln last month, I did a tour of the castle and the old jail. I ended up spending too much time in one section and was kinda mad at myself for missing out on some cool things in the other section when it got to closing time. I finished the afternoon doing a walk of the castle walls and managed to get this shot of a woman with an umbrella against stark grey skies, with the cathedral (one of my favourites) in the background. Truly a rare shot, I could've gone 364 out of 365 days in the year and missed out on a shot like this. Another time, it could've been a black umbrella. Nowhere near as noteworthy. Other times, it might've not been raining at all. Even on the day of this picture, had anything been different, the woman with the umbrella could've already moved out of the frame before I turned up. It was pure serendipity and things had to line up perfectly for this photo to exist. This is the way life often is and God in His decree has already figured out the times and places we need to be for things to turn out the way they must. When a flower exists, so does the bee to pollinate it. We see the symbiotic aspect of nature all the time. If one or two things were different, even by the finest margin, everything else would be different as a result. These moments in my creative endeavours are what makes me appreciate God's providence more than ever. We get to live out the greatest tapestry ever woven and experience it in time, all to God's eternal glory. Next time you're mad or sad or don't understand, usually it will all become clear in the end. Sometimes on the same day, sometimes years later. All you need to do is keep looking out for umbrellas against the grey.
