so, if you didnt know, i started out as a cr blog. and lets just say i stopped watching during campaign 2 for...reasons. so now i just find myself wholly uninterested in anything that cast does. i didnt watch pirates of leviathan for the same reason.

I think another issue w CR is the cast doesn't realize they can't just fall back on the "Haha we're just friends hanging out on a Thursday evening! It's all just improvised! You can't hold us accountable for our racism and homophobia!" when they're a whole company making profit off their improvised-haha-just-friends-hanging-out content. Like stop making excuses and start making an effort 🔫. But I don't really expect them to considering they have defended blackface lmao ANYWAY listen to NADDPOD

and yeah i totally agree. at first, in early to mid season 1 sure, they were just a group of all white friends havin’ a laugh. but this show blew the fuck up and now they have their own COMPANY ! a company full of white people who think playing characters of color and having a guest of color every 100 episodes means something 🙃 and if you wanna make the comparison to other dnd shows...d20 has had consultants from the beginning and brennan has been aware of how it’s his responsibility to play characters of all races/genders/sexualities respectfully (along with our intrepid heroes). not saying they’re perfect but, well
