i literally couldn't stop myself from doodling this

lemme knock the both of these out in one go:

just some sweet peter doodles with some of his fav people ^-^

peter is a #manhater in this au and he's much more willing to be around women. he will be actively hostile towards batman, nightwing, red hood, and robin but with spoiler, huntress, black bat, and oracle? he's a polite young man and wouldn't dream of disrespecting them. not out of a sense of like... "oh women are weaker than men so i can't hit them" it's literally just cause he's reacting to his trauma and his anger and distrusts men so much. it's a big reason why tim and peter do NOT get along for a while, but peter and selina get along pretty well. (selina pov of peter is like "aww he's feral and keeps trying to bite us" like someone finding a stray kitten). peter is always angry and always bitter and he's not a saint by any means. but he is far more willing to be around and work with women. (it's the trauma). however, he's still distrusting of them

which means that when steph shows up, tim is APPALLED when peter stands near her, banters with her, and even laughs at her jokes. he is pouty and huffy the entire time. but steph mistakes peter's banter as trust and tim is very smug when peter blatantly shows her that he doesn't trust her at all and that they aren't friends

eventually she'll get him to crack, though. it's steph. but it'll be after peter got attached to tim and began trusting him so much

i genuinely can't wait to write more of Peter interacting with Cass, Duke, and Steph. everyone else has been getting their chance to shine and they'll be getting a few chapters dedicated to them ♡

at this point, i had to scrap it being an entire chapter because it wasn't fitting into the plot very well, BUT there will be instances where we get to see him with the girls more!! There's about a week in their timeline coming up where Bruce and Tim are at that skateboarding event, Dick actually has to go to work/check on Bludhaven, Jason has crime lording to lord. So Peter will be interacting a lot more with Duke, Cass, Steph, and Babs (plus Dami because he'll also be off from school for fall break) in his immediate circle

i think it was chapter 9? might be 10? it's the conversation with the Bats where they finally talk and Tim tells them he figured out Peter is from an alternate dimension. He and Steph had gotten into a fight and wrote on each other with pens, so that entire conversation Tim is being serious but he has sharpie on his face

combination of nerves and wanting the conversation to be done with after keeping it under wraps for a month while the nosiest people alive bothered him about it. but also Peter will be making fun of him for it next Halloween when he dresses up as Sharpie Tim. Steph has a field day with it

for SURE! i have some plans on the back burner for them because they're a lot alike and I love steph sm

Steph had dated Tim in the past, but not anymore. They're strictly platonic now and I figured it'd be a cute joke for them for her to call him Boyfie. Their dynamic is so unusual and strange and I find it very endearing. Being friends with your ex sounds impossible to a lot of people but Steph and Tim make it work.

As for the Cass thing... That's because my dumbass didn't know about StephCass being amazing until recently. I wrote that chapter with Steph's first POV a while ago and I have to go back and fix it. I didn't realize at the time that Steph's relationship with the Batfam is the funniest shit ever where she is not B's kid at all but she's also always at their house, eating their food, using his credit card, had dated B's son but is now dating his daughter. God I love her and I'm so sorry to everyone that I didn't read more about her until recently.

(I'd also like to note that canon is, in fact, my bitch, and in my eyes, Steph and Bruce are now good friends and he cares about her very much.)
