admittedly, i haven't actually read Marvel comics ( or comics in general that much tbh, except for dc sometimes but barely lol ), but it seems like they give a better portrayal / interpretation of the characters than the mcu does. Especially the positive representation they give to disabled, poc, & LGBTQ characters.
The mcu really screws over many characters they whitewashed Wanda Maximoff and made her work for nazis when both of her parents originally survived the holocaust. They made Clint Barton lose his disability which made him a more realistic/relatable character. They ruined Monica the first Captain marvel by making her worship Carol Danvers. They make Scarletvison look healthy but they are literally divorced in the main universe. They will easily destroy the xmen who have been literally been hunted down in the comics. They might be making magneto wandas dad again which means they are going to whitewash him. Magneto is Jewish plus he has survived the holocaust. And they might do a young avengers movie which I don't want because it has LGBT characters plus poc characters and the mcu will easily ruin them. I don't really read a lot of comics with them but they have great charactes. And I'm not the biggest comic expert either don't worry lol. But yeah the mcu doesn't do good with poc characters and they probably won't do good with lgbt characters. And they also never show how war machine is good at rocket science.

If your response to people being rightfully being sad/annoyed that Monica is a child in the captain marvel movie is “she’ll be in a later movie” you’re missing the point. Monica fans should not be waiting years to see the first female Captain Marvel when she should have been introduced with or before Carol
Stop white washing the Maximoff family.
Why does everyone hate on MCU quicksilver but not on the xmen-mcu quicksilver? Both are white washed like hate on both. You guys only like xmen-mcu quicksilver because he is played by Evan Peters. If it was played by anyone else you wouldn't care about him or defend the character being whitewashed. And don't stop hating on MCU Wanda she also white washed. As someone who is Jewish it sucks that they ruined everything about the twins. Both are Jewish and roma poc. And casting a white blonde woman for the part of Wanda, who is half Romani, half Jewish. And has family of holocaust survivors is an important part of her character. Plus the xmen-mcu actor is a natural blonde. Like well done Hollywood you whitewashed minorities. (Again) In the comics, a lot of time was spent establishing Maximoff's ethnic identity. And the first displays of Maximoff's powers occurred when she was fleeing a couple of racist. In one comic. And Red Skull (a character I fucking hate) literally said she was Jewish and roma but he said Gypsy. So I have proof for all of this. So don't be like "sHe IsN't A pOc" mcu stans. She has never been white and will never be white and you people defending this are fucking awful. Like go away you shit heads.
