full disclosure: i know MANY readers who enjoy parse as a character and who are good and responsible humans. Those readers are wonderful! Thank you for treating me fairly and with respect!

But every time I encounter a reader who treats me this way, they are always parse fans. It’s been this way for years. Always, after dozens of instances, the people who don’t care about my feelings, care more about the fictional character, the fictional white man that I created. That came from my mind. They are always parse fans. How delusional must you be to not see how this is an issue?

Once I heard about an all-trans hockey team I knew I had to be part of it! Excited to announce that I've joined "Team Trans" for their Friendship series in Boston November 9-10 at Simcoe Arena.

Calling all D&D/RPG checkplease fans.

So I’ve been thinking for ages of running a oneshot based on the comic, with Samwell as the setting for it.

I haven’t polished the details or anything, but I wanted to see if there was interest for it.

Ideally I’d like to figure out how to record it and post it for people to enjoy. We would play online, using Roll20 and Discord for voice, both free to sign up for.

This is just an exploratory post to see if I can find players. If you are interested, let me know in the comments or send me a PM.

I will figure out an application process if there’s more than a few people interested, and whatever homebrew content I make for it I’ll post here for people to be able to go and play it as well.

‘Swawesome Santa 2018: sign-ups are OPEN!

Hey everyone! Please read this post carefully and in its entirety!

CLICK HERE to sign up for the 2018 ‘Swawesome Santa exchange!

Here’s everything you need to know about the exchange this year:

1. Just like in years past, we’ll be doing sign-ups as well as fulfillment exclusively through AO3.

2. The sign-up period will be from now until 11:59PM (Eastern Standard North America Time) on Friday, November 16, 2018.

3. Once sign ups close, it’ll take ‘Swawesome Santa HQ a day or so to get matches completed and to send out assignments. My goal is to have this done within 24 hours. Then everyone can begin to work on their gifts.

4. Just like last year, participants will be able to choose their posting window through a sign-up process. You’ll sign up for a posting date about a week after you get your assignment, and posting will happen throughout December.

5. Same as last year, you can choose to create art or fiction, and you can choose to receive art or fiction.  

6. Ultimately, you’ll create one work, and you’ll receive one work. The sign-up process on AO3 will allow you to define up to three requests, and up to three offers. This does NOT mean three fanworks, but rather, up to three options. You’re only required to define one of each. More instructions on this are at the end of this post.

7. Fiction should be at least 1,000 words, complete, and beta’d. Please do not post a portion of an incomplete larger work.

8. Art should be original, traditional and digital hand-drawn or painted art, but no graphics, manips, or icons. A good rule of measure is to create something you’d be happy to receive yourself!

9. PLEASE sign up only if you are committed to completing the exchange.
