Another background that’s based of a dream. Was one of those dreams where I tried to take a photo, but couldn’t because there were too many people(which I didn’t draw). Eventually it turned out I was watching it on the TV the whole time.
A drawing I started early this year and finished it yesterday. Which explains the style differences between characters and BG. For the car and house I was lazy(because I suck in drawing those things) and used photos which I warped in the (hopefully)right angle and traced over to get the bases. The car was a Mini Copper. Changed a few things and added different details and colors. So far I’m happy how it looks like, but pretty sure I will dislike it few months later. But at least the idea/dream scene is out off my head. If you have any advises or see something that makes no sense, let me know! Want to get into Backgrounds more. :)
It’s based on a dream I had last year around christmas and was one of those dreams where I felt I was on an awesome holiday trip. Apparently it was in Italy(I never went to Italy in real life though). Makes me wonder if there is such a place in Italy. There were also a bunch of old castles and some weird stuff going on in the city.
Another BG based on a dream. Tried to find good images of that kind of weather where it is really sunny and at the same time has thick/dark rain/thunderstorm clouds. Which I couldn’t, so I had to make things up.
The dream itself was really cool! Started off as a chase and ended up being like a nice holiday trip. This drawing(like all the other ones I did)don’t represent the true nature/beauty of the dream.

BG exercise. This is mostly based of dreams, but this is (again)based on something existing. Also used Steven Universe BGs as references, since I love their designs and are very inspiring.
The real deal doesn’t look as good as in most of my dreams. Especially once they stopped caring about the park. That bridge belongs to the area/park (Agra Markkleeberg in Germany)where I grew up and I still have tons of great memories from that time. Explains why I keep returning to that place once in a while in my sleep.
However, they plan(or already did) to tear down that bridge. I got mixed feelings about it, especially since they want to replace it with a (really long!)underground tunnel. I personally hate long tunnels, since they are creepy, dark and way more dangerous than bridges. Also my nostalgic feelings hate that idea as well. Then again, that bridge wasn’t there before(was built in the 70′s I think?)and I’m pretty sure I would have negative feelings if they would suddenly build a bridge now. Besides that, on the honest side; that bridge was not very pretty anyways.
Our brains are pretty silly.
