Scammer alert! There is that person who pretends to be an (popular) artist from Japan. Not only do they seem to do this to gain popularity, but also to receive free art from people. This person tried to scam me and other artists to get free art. They would keep asking (in an very annoying way) if I’m open for commissions, which I wasn’t because I was already busy. Eventually I gave in and then they claimed they have no PayPal because they are „too young“. Which was the first strange thing, especially since they agreed to pay. We eventually agreed on a trade and judge yourself on the result. Found the original artist on Pixiv and messaged them on their Twitter account. And it confirmed my theories. Sadly; Instagram STILL hasn’t done anything against it! It’s fun to draw random characters in Gantz-suits. A dog and a Panda wore them, why not other characters or animals? ^o^

For some people May = Mermay = Mermaids, but for me Mermay is related to Merlock. But why not combining these two together?

Frohe Krampusnacht!

It’s based on a commercial/short where all the Disney characters(with Minnie and Mickey as main characters)go to Paris and transform into those ghoulish creepy anorexic sticks.

Merlock and I in the style of the DT-reboot.

With the top image I went the lazier way and color picked directly from a screenshot of the movie. And the colors are much different than I thought. Best example his “skin”(fur) color; it is in the green department instead of beige/flesh as I thought. Always good to learn something new. :)

Ghostly Merlock sketch

I tried but I failed. Turned out much different than I planned and I didn’t know what to do with background. That’s why it was sitting unfinished on my desktop for a while. :P

Upgraded his sword and gave him the helmet.

Finally scanned the drawings I made during my last trip. More next week!

The Wolf in the last image is supposed to be Katou from Gantz as Zootopia character(I kind of failed). :P
