In an alternate timeline where the Cold War's space race ended with a treaty on mutually assured destruction, present-day rebels are sent to a specialized prison to serve their sentences on the dark side of the moon.

The more that new inmate Dean Winchester uncovers about the prison's secrets, the more intent he becomes on escaping. To succeed, he’ll need the help of a hardened lifer: the reclusive ‘angel of death’, Castiel Krushnik.
