Olomouc, Czechia - aka the town where Lafayette was held in prison from 1794 to 1797.
Had to go to Olomouc for one last important meet and greet before I leave the country!
Poor marquis de Lafayette probably doesn't have the fondest of memories of his time here. It notably includes one really botched escape attempt. But hey, at least his wife and kids eventually came to stay with him!

Okay guys, but on page 188 of the Chernow's novel about Alexander Hamilton, he is calling him "the little dynamo" Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this absolutely hilarious!
