So! something that made me sad about the new mystery dungeon games is that they removed a lot of the cool options for main characters from the old games. I always wished there was more variety in choices aside from the starter pokemon so I decided to draw up a list of all the pokemon I think could make cute hero/partner options! Several as you can see are ones present in the old games that were sadly removed. (I was going to put machop too, but as it turns out I cannot for the life of me draw a machop correctly)
With these plus the ones already given in super mystery dungeon (that being all the starters + pikachu and riolu) that would total up to 50 different pokemon to choose from. Obviously that many options in one game is HIGHLY improbable and probably unnecessary but I can dream! (and hey maybe it would be a good reason to make two different versions again with different pokemon options on each? idk)
But I’m curious to know what pokemon people would choose if they DID have this many options ouo My personal dream team as a kid was growlithe and poocheyna
