The Coolest Stage Ever
The Austrians know what’s up. At Lake Constance in Bregenz, Austria, the Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz Festival) has become known worldwide for its unorthodox performances. “A Masked Ball,” one of Guiseppi Verdi’s most famous operas, was performed upon a stage featuring a giant book being read by a skeleton.
